Had a hard time finding true wireless earbuds that I liked so I ended up trying three before I found ones that worked for me. Posting the review for all three in case someone else is interested in all three models. First I started with my wife’s AirPods. They were good but I didn’t like 2 things about them (that I later figured out were not real issues). First they just did not seam very secure in the ears and I wanted to be able to fast forward by touching the earbud vice my phone. So I got the Jabra elite active 65t. Really good functionality and had the features I wanted. Only problem was they actually hurt my ears. Tried different buds (had a lot of different ones to try) but they all made my ear more sore. It was especially painful when pushing the buttons. If it would have had virtual buttons vice actual push buttons it would have been better. So took those back Next i tried the Jlab epic air. I really liked these ones. They fit well would not fall off, easy to pair and buttons worked well. I like how it came with its own charging cable but the box was a little big compared to the other boxes. I would have kept these ones if they would have worked. The problem was the Bluetooth just kept disconnecting randomly for a second or two at a time. And when my phone was in my pocket it was even more frequent. So these went back also. So I tried the apple AirPods again and discovered things I really liked about them. First the only time they really came loose and fell out was when I inadvertently hit them. When eating they would get a little loose but never fall out. However I think this is very depended on your ear because the air buds do not have changeable rubber buds for the ends like all the other ones. For my wife and I they worked great but my son said they were too big for his ears. Second is you can actually change what the double button tap controls. So I was able to set it to track advance so i could jump commercials on news programs. The really nice feature is you can make both left and right buds have the same functions or they can each do something different. For me I liked having them be the same because unlike the other ear buds with the AirPods you could use the left or right by itself and all functions would worked. This is very convenient for long trips and I like being able to hear with my other ear to my surroundings. With a iPhone it was really really easy to pair. With the charger/storage box you can always have one of the buds charging while using one. So you never run out of a charged air bud. The charging case is really small and holds a good charge. Not really sure how many charges you can get but I got several individual charges. One trick i figured out that Apple doesn’t seam to mention is if you have the charging case real close to your iPhone when opening it (like almost touching) you can see the charge on both buds and the case. Overall I am very happy with the AirPods.
