They constantly get to a state of degraded volume, need cleaning and maintenance. Sometimes one just stops working. If you don’t need the mic, there are a host of cheaper Bluetooth options with longer battery life for 1/2 the price. I’ve had a $30 pair I much prefer for 3 years, dropped in water, stepped on and super glued back together, and sound and work like the day I got them including battery life. Break out of the apple crap, you live with so much less for an ad campaign.

From what he's told me, he has no complaints and sound, charging and ability to track work great. Refurbished is your best bet when you're trying to get what you want and save some cash.

She had a new pair prior and after about a year and a half one of the airpods stopped working. We decided to just get this refurbished pair since they were not much more then getting just one airpod replaced. She thinks the sound quality is awesome and just like new! We are hoping they last longer then her original ones!!

Exactly what I needed!

Overall, I am happy with the purchase but it is obvious that the product has been used before (packaging, condition). I am still happy with it, and have bought an open box products from BestBuy before which looked brand - but this one just needed a bit more detail to look brand new.
