iPods were my only foray into Apple products before this purchase. I took the plunge with this iPad 2017 because the price was so good I couldn't resist. As a long-time Android fan, I have to say that IOS is far superior to any of the Android candy products. Plus, this iPad works as smooth a butter. Apple, you've finally hit all the right sweet-spots to make me return to you!

This iPad has a few of the features that really make the product stand out. It has great battery life and a nice Retina display. It does not have the True Tone display or the stereo speakers, however these are things I do not consider essential to the iPad experience. It’s defintely worth missing out on those features to get the core iPad experience for much less.

Pros - Easy on the eyes display. Not too heavy Responds quickly Google apps available so I didn't need to switch from Android. (My phone is still Android) Has fingerprint reader Cons - iOS is too simple when you're used to personalizing an Android device to the T. The fingerprint reader response is hit or miss. No Instagram app for a screen this size. The iPhone version can be installed, but it's stretched out and looks ridiculous In Summary I really like this iPad. I primarily use it for study and Adobe apps for my photography. It serves these functions well for me. I plan to get a pen for it in the future, an accessory I may recommend for those who draw or color. I think this iPad will be good for that.
