We had a iPad 2. It had a lot of use and was getting slow and unreliable. The replacement is an iPad generation 5. The speed is good. It has a few interesting apps that came with it, such as garage band, and numbers. We now run iOS 11. Works great!

Perfect way to introduce a novice to Apple products in preparation for buying an Apple IPhone. If you still have an old cell phone that does not have Smart technology, this the best way to learn how to use Apple technology before you make that leap.

I have an iphone 8 and to be honest, the speed of this ipad was a little bit disappointing. Of course, I know one is a $900 dollar iphone vs. a $300 ipad. I think if you don't mind using the same technology that was on an iphone 5 or maybe 6, then you should be fine. Because that's what it is: an iphone 5 or 6 on a large screen. The ipad mini, on the other hand, I found, for some reason, to be better.

Apple products are always awesome and on sale st Best Buy makes it even better

I bought an iPad 2 back in 2012 & finally upgraded in early 2017. Impressed with how much faster this is, especially for the price. Ability to have two apps open at once, higher resolution display, lightning port and Touch ID are handy updates to the formula.

I've owned many iPad devices. This one is just has the lower end specifications. It handles, games, internet and pretty much anything else just fine. Go to the Pro version if you want something more, but this one will handle most anything just fine.
