This is my new iPad to replace my old one. The screen is so clear, and this model is lighter than the 2nd version.

I've had tablets for years and most usually bought less expensive Android tablets as iPad's always packed a premium price tag. Then comes the new 2017 iPad. It's now much more affordable and high quality. All though not as high quality as in the past. The biggest cut back is the screen. It is a plastic non-laminated screen. It almost looks and feels like a restive touch screen from the early days of touch devices. It's bound to scratch easily, feels cheap, and touch responsiveness is diminished. I purchased a tempered glass screen protector though and it restores the more premium feeling and durability, it even increased the touch responsiveness, all in all it now feels like iPads of the past. Other than the screen it's a great device for the money, just buy a glass screen protector. I bought two of these, one for me and one for my Wife. I brought mine back and got the 128 gb. Man I really wish Apple would make 64gb their default capacity.

Needed this ipad for use while traveling around the US. Much more easier to use then carrying my laptop everywhere i go.
