I bought it because it is lightweight, attractive, although, it didn't come in the color i wanted. I tested it out and being a first time user it was extremely easy to use and considering buying one for myself

6th Gen. Lighter than my other two iPads

This is the 6th generation. It is lighter than the two I already own. I travel a lot so weight is a factor for me. Installing went very quick. Only a few ours. This is mainly because you have to initialize apps on a new device. The 5th generation did take a whole day. I had expectations battery life time should be better, but that is not the case.
