I got this as an upgrade to my iPad Air 2 and I must say I like it! It’s much faster than my Air 2 and that’s all I really wanted. I had been considering a Pro but I just didn’t want to spend that much when I wouldn’t use it to its full capabilities. I draw but I’m not a graphic artist. I take a lot of notes so since the new iPad is Apple Pencil compatible I pick one up also. I haven’t used any iPad I’ve owned as much as I use this one with the Pencil.

I was in the market for a new tablet device. I have an older Samsung Tab 8.0 and am currently using it as my alarm clock and want it to stay bedside. I decided to join the "Evil Empire" this time around due to the fact that the Apple Pencil works on the less expensive regular iPad. It works great! I use it mainly for art and surfing the 'net. If you are looking for a less expensive alternative to a Wacom Cintiq tablet, this will work well for you.

I use the IPad Pro 10.5 and love it. When this new iPad came out I bought it for my wife to replace an older iPad. I like that it can be used and paired with the Apple Pencil. The new iPad is fast, and responsive. It only falls behind the IPad Pro in regard to sound, 2 speakers vs 4 and that when using the Apple Pencil on this iPad the pencil seems to impact the screen slightly differently. Works well, but the non-laminated surface sounds different when struck by pencil. Otherwise, a great value and worthy successor to earlier iPad.

Purchased this iPad to replace old one. This a basic unit but it works great, used to access internet, email, game apps. Facebook and Netflix. Only has 32 GB but that’s more then enough with iCloud for storage. Got it on sale so even better price. Very satisfied.
