Easy to use

I wish it came with a carrier case or something, just so I don't worry about where I put it. Fits easily in my camera bag. Easy to edit pictures right away on the iPad.

Great accessory for iPad user

I have an iPhone 4, iPad 2, and Sony Cybershot digital camera. I have not encountered any problems/issues with the adapters. The box includes manual and 1 yr ltd warranty - accessory booklets for use.

Many Uses, but falls Short

It does not work with certain types of Video files With iMovie. If you have a jail-broken iPad it becomes a great tool extra storage is where it shines. It would be more useful if apple would allow it to be used more effectively

If you want to use with a SD card beware

I was so disappointed when I put my Sony SD card in there and it didn't read it. Lucky for me I had the Sony cable with me so the USB connector worked. I have a really nice HD Sony camera that is only 2 yrs old I don't understand why they couldn't make it to work with all SD cards.

Must have accessory

Before I got this kit, I had a lot of trouble sharing pictures and video between my iPhone and iPad. For several months iTunes had a defect that prevented users from synching iPhone videos with an iPad. If you got an iPad to use with iMovie, this was very frustrating. However, with the adapter kit, there is no need for iTunes. Simply connect your iPhone to your iPad and a GUI appears on the iPad allowing you to select the pictures and videos you want to transfer. I only wish someone in the Apple forums had mentioned this kit!

Wish the iPad had this built in by default, but since it is not, this is a great accessory. It is a bummer that you can't just leave it plugged in all the time, but that would end with it getting broken off. No issues with this reader.

The iPhoto software does not allow for much editing of the imported photos but that is not an issue with the camera kit. It does not work on iPhone.

It's so easy to use, I can share photos quickly.

Does the trick, but not great for professional use

It does just what you need it to do

A product that allows me to almost instantly review my photos and videos while on vacation.To be a bit picky, you cannot enlarge and inspect the previews before deciding whether or not to import. The connection kit is simple to use and great.
