This is a nice cover, but Apple should sell this and the silicone protecting case as one instead of charging for separate pieces. You need both to protect your iPad Pro. I got an ink mark on this cover and cannot get it off. That is my reason for the 4 stars.

The Smart Cover is decent enough, but in order for full protection, you need the Case as well. The cost of both is a bit high in my opinion. The two should be sold together at a reduced price.

I returned the first hard/soft case I put on my iPad Pro after the plastic started cracking at the cutouts and ports. My local store credited my account and got me into this Apple case. It fits perfect, and the protection is above expectations.

Bad cuz you have to buy both pieces separate but they stated that apple care will only fix your product of its in all apple products. More or less forced to get it. Wish they had a black case. Afraid of white because it dirties too quick.

Works well as a basic cover to protect your screen. Closing the cover puts the iPad to sleep. I can still listen to music through bluetooth when the cover is closed. It works as a stand, but it is not super sturdy. Overall, I am happy.

This is the gray smart cover for the 12.9" iPad Pro and it is cool.

Bought this cover after the screen broke on my iPad, Apple replaced for free and I now use this cover to keep this from happening again. It has protected it when a friend dropped a coffee cup on it without the screen cracking.
