Long battery life, easy to read screen - tons of apps

I had an iPad 2. I needed to return that to work and get my own so I chose the iPad, 4th Gen with 32 GB RAM. So far I have only used half the RAM but I need and want space for more later. It is beautiful and seems to use less energy then my iPad 2. It will stay on 100% for a day after I charged it if I haven't used it much.

For the durabilty and ease of use, I find the ipad such a pleasure. The ease of learning the functions of this great educational tool makes even an adverage computer user transform into a skill computer person. Apple has taken a very light, compact instrument and made it comparable to any full size computer on the market,

Purchased this for my wife. It's pricey, but you get a great tablet with a gorgeous screen and great functionality. For my personal use I have an android device and prefer the options it offers for user flexibility, but the iPad offers a much easier and intuitive interface for users who would prefer that type of experience

It has great sound, very easy to use and very fast.

Was a little skeptical to take the leap and buy an ipad, although most of my friends said they loved theirs. Since I've had it, now I know why they love theirs. It's a handy ebook reader and I can check my email very easily. I can take photos and share them conveniently. And it's just as easy to use as my iphone. Love it.

New to apple system, so this has been a learning experience. The screen quality and responsiveness are great. The volume of available apps is impressive. As stated, I'm new to the apple system and some of the progressions are not necessarily obvious or intuitive, but it's coming along. I strongly recommend this product'

Since I saw the first IPad I wanted one, but had to wait. My husband bought me the fourth generation and I think it is the best thing since sliced bread!!! I use it constantly because I can take it with me in the house, in my purse etc. Thank you Apple!

Picture quality is amazing, was very glad that I went with the one with retina display. Bought it to take on trip to AZ was able to watch a movie and access internet in flight. On the way home was stranded overnight in the airport and was able to access Netflix and was able to watch the whole first season of a tv show. Only had it for about a month and I know there is alot more that I will able to do with it.

I like the iPad better than my previous hp netbook. The netbook was great in its time, but this is more lightweight and I can definitely read it more easily. Having the Zagg keyboard/case is key. Protects and makes it much easier to do work on.

I had the first IPad and used it daily. I love the camera, FaceTime and color. I use the new IPad Retina for pleasure playing games and talking to my Grandkids which live out of State. They prefer to use my new one as they have the Ipad2. I feel the price is good because the quality is the Best of all tablets.

I love the new ipad. There are so many great settings you can use. One of my favorites is that you can go to settings/general/guided access/on so your little kids can't push the home button & open other apps they should not be in. Great for special needs kids too so they stay in the apps you want them to use.

The iPad is revolutionizing the way we connect to each other and to the Internet. I purchased the 32GB iPad with retina display and wifi but no 4G. So far, I've been more than pleased. The built-in apps work well, but the real "deal-sealer" is the App Store. More apps are designed for iOS than any other portable operating system; suffice it to say that, if you can't find an app that does what you want it to, you probably don't need it anyway. The initial investment is higher than competitors' tablets, but this is more than offset by the amazing display and the iOS compatibility. Highly recommended.

I'm not a "shaved my head and drank the cool-aid" apple guy but I got my first apple device - iPhone 4s - a nearly two years ago. I considered a different tablet but my work has a potential app for iPad. This influenced my decision considerably but honestly the iPad was pretty appealing on it's own merits.

Purchased unit to be an adder to the home computers, Grandma was stand ofish as she did not think she liked computers nor understood them. She is now using it daily and adding new apps all the time. Even started by buying an I tunes card today, had been trying the free apps in the past two weeks to learn.

I bought two of these for our children (ages 20 boy & 24 girl) for Christmas and they love them! One loves the photos, the other loves music, and they both surf the web watching shows, shopping, etc. We got the best price through Best Buy (even cheaper than direct from Apple) the day after Black Friday.

I got the Ipad retina display for my Nursing courses. I love every minute of it so far, I have all of my text books on it so that saves my 50lbs of extra weight in my backpack. I find that it is easy to use. I did have to purchase a few apps that make it easier to use with school but very worth it.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday and she loves it! i cant keep her away from it. she used to be on her I phone all the time and know it's the I Pad. would recommend this product to anyone that was in the market for a tablet.
