It is great if you need something other than a laptop or a desktop. It is better than a netbook and it has a great build and battery life. But again it is an Apple - so it is pricey and fragile. I wish they would add a port for an SD card reader or a USB drive. It is also not great with some websites, some software or apps - like videos, and PDF, etc

got this for someone that have trouble operating a computer with a mouse and the touch screen is a big help in that area esp touring the web and playing the games.

Greatest tablet on the market. Compare, like I did, to Android tablets and you won't be disappointed. Sure, you can get other tablets cheaper, but Apple has an unmatched build quality and the App selection is unmatched.

I bought my wife a notebook computer and she really didn't use it......now it's impossible to keep her off the web. We also Facetime with the grandkids...great video.

Started using it just as an easy way to check e-mails and explore internet. Son borrowed it and has been able to remotely run productions at local entertainment venue. So convenient and useful that he still has it!

wonderful piece of tech that can be used for all ages. I use it at a gymnastics gym and instruction.

I have been wanting this IPad since it came out and since I got it, it's been with me at home and at work. I read at night and I'm a photographer so I can share my photos and keep my website updated on it too.

I'm surprised this thing is still going strong, no lag and still accepting updates!! It's perfect for reading and gaming. There only cons I have are the big ugly bezels around it.

I love the iPad, but I wish I had full access to all Internet sites. I can not view many sights as it will say this device does not support Adobe flash. Also you can not use word programs or attach documents

We have a BlackBerry Playbook and Kindle Fire that we have used for a couple of years. After having the iPad for a month, regret we didn't buy this sooner!

this is such a convenient little device that we hardly use our desktop anymore. But some websites are difficult to navigate with the iPad vs the desktop.

Everything you've heard good about the ipad is true. BUT - it is annoying in that my music and photos and many other things did not automatically sync with my iphone, despite having an icloud account, etc.

I love the iPad the only thing is that it could be little bit cheaper and better features to compete with others pads Out-there. Personally one of those features could be the sound maybe a second speaker!

Price is a steep compared to other tablets. Very easy to use and picture quality is great!

We have hd our tablet for about a month and it is great. We can stream movies while in bed and it is very conveneint.

I love my ipad. I got it before I travelled overseas so I didn't have to take my laptop and it was everything I hoped it would be. My husband has severe ipad envy, but luckily it's his birthday soon!

I usually buy every other iOS device for improvement reasons, and once again I was right. This iPad is very fast and has the lightning dock which is cool because I already switched over due to the i5.

Great tablet and the most capable of those I have seen. You definitely get what you pay for, I just wish they would look into reducing the price or providing more storage space for what you pay.
