I've had an IPod for 5 years and have enjoyed it. The iPad is better because of the larger screen and better battery life. Love my iPad!

I was going to purchase the new Kindle Fire HD 32GB but read that I couldn't transfer my ITunes account and would have to purchase an additional program to do this. I don't want to repurchase my songs and videos that I already purchase through ITunes. My sister-in-law suggested I get the Ipad because then I could automatically download my entire Itune library without any fuss. I got a great price on Thanksgiving for a 32GB and have been happy with it ever since. So far I haven't purchased any books, but I plan to very soon.

The camera works great. I love using the IPad it is easy to learn and has so many features.

I was looking for a functional tablet for basic surfing and interactive media. Fantastic screen resolution and responsiveness. The price is a bit high, knowing there are limitations as compared to a laptop. However the opertaing system and iCloud are really cool features with other Apple products. I am disappointed in the quality of the cameras, both are rather poor for the price and the availability of technology. Shocking how Apple refuses to upgrade the cameras. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Had a Ipad 3rd gen and loved it. Got stolen and bought an android top of the line pad. It was very good. Apps were just as good. But there was something missing. The Ipad was just so much smoother. Never slowed down or got bogged down. Bought this 4th gen 32gb Ipad and love it. Still the best pad you can buy. Do miss the openness of the android OS but that definitely does not detract from the Ipad.

Much easier to use than PC notebook and laptops ... Not as heavy and cumbersome. Very easy to navigate and access files etc.

Our family has 3 Iphones and 2 ipods so adding an Ipad to the mix of technology in our family made sense. I think apple products are very intuitive and easy to use. Love that I can hook up a wireless keyboard to make it more user friendly for typing long messages and filling out forms on websites. Very portable. Apple products are more expensive but I think the quality is higher so it's worth the premium! Doesn't completely replace my laptop for all my needs but comes pretty darn close.

Apple puts out great products. Very simple to use and they have a lot of apps the can be downloaded. A great screen resolution and beautiful colors. I do need to add the the staff at Best Buy were not helpful when I went to go and pick it up. It was bought under my wife's account and she put me down to pick it up. I could not so she want to go get it and it was like matter a national security to get it. I was really disappointed in the way we were treated when we tried to pick it up.

Enjoy the small size and convenience. Wish the price were more reasonable. Would like to be able to produce word documents.

A friend told me he loved his ipad even more than his iphone, and now I can say I know exactly what he means. I can take care of so many aspects of daily life with such ease with my ipad, and can also review work info from the comfort of my home. I sleep with this thing next to me...

The iPad 4 is great for someone who is on the go a lot. I absolutely loved it and the retina display makes it even better!

Great quality except for video calling with Skype. I wish the onscreen keyboard had arrow keys like the desktop keyboard. It would easier movement of the cursor. Cursor is hard to move on screen with large fingers. It is difficult even when using a stylist. However, this is the only negative thing I have to say about the IPAD. I love the overall quality, clearness of the picture (except for when using Skype). Overall, I am very pleased I decided to go with IPAD over other platforms!

This product is essential for any student. The screen size is perfect and the system is lightning fast. A perfect fit.

My family uses different apple devices, including iPads, iPhones, and iMac. Sharing an apple ID makes keeping all of us on the same page through various applications, i.e. iCal and Cozi. Even my 8 year old benefits from this! The retina display is incredible! I don't know that it would be a deal breaker if I couldn't afford the extra cost for the retina display (we have iPad 2s also, and they're great as well). The processing speed is a noticeably faster though. It's a great addition!

This is our second i-pad and mainly got it because it was hard to find time to use our first one with 5 kids wanting to use it. My older kids use it for spelling and math practice, and younger kids with reading books and stories. The games, movies, and music are a fun treat. The kids ages 2-9 all are able to use it with ease. In addition to the use that kids have, it works perfectly for me with internet searches, email, and a few work related items. It was a very good investment.

I don't know how I ever got along without an I PAD. First, I am a professional jazz musician and have loaded my I PAD with all my music, thousands of songs. No longer have to cart around a heavy tote bag of books! Also, I use my second I PAD for my Real Estate Business. The possibilities are endless. Thanks "Apple".
