The iPhone was already pretty great, but these cameras on the new iPhone 11pro are amazing and the battery life is even better than before!

I upgraded from the iPhone 7 before leaving the country for 15 days, terrible mistake! As I would have returned this phone if I could have. (I purchased it for the improved camera, battery life, and dual sims; all of which have issues.) From the start the new iPhone 11 Pro was plagued with issues. Regarding the camera, during the day the pictures are great. But taking pictures at night, secondary to the "night mode" leaves much to be desired! While using the camera at night, it automatically starts night mode and this can NOT be shut off (like you can disable the flash), instead each time you change between the 3 cameras nightmode is automatically activated and it takes multiple steps to get it set back to zero seconds/off. Because of this I missed numerous pictures on my trip. A second issue with taking pictures at night is that it appears the processor is not equipped to handle the task, so after a couple of pictures are taken the camera app will freeze. Once this occurs you have to minimize the app, and then do the screen pullup to see the background app still running, and then close this app. Finally, you can reopen the app, given the amount of time this takes I missed most of the images I wanted to capture (and this was only made worse if I then had to shut off the automatically activated "night mode".) The third issue with the camera, and I see this is being reported by others, is that on occasion the pictures taken are blurry. I verified that my lens was clean, but the pictures would be blurry until the phone was restarted. After restarting the phone usually, the pictures would be normal. While I was on my trip, I was out of the country, so I had intended to utilize the Dual Sim feature on the iPhone 11 Pro. Verizon does not inform you that they lock BOTH sim cards (the e-sim and the physical sim). I had my Verizon number activated on the e-sim while I was traveling and was informed that my physical sim was unlocked, this was a lie; as I was unable to use local sim cards for data while traveling. Airplane mode does not actually fully shut off the cellular signal, as on multiple occasions (including at least one time when I was not on WIFI) I would receive phone calls, SMS messages, and iMessages. I am unsure whether I will be charged for every day I was on vacation ($10 per day), but if so this is a major flaw in Apples OS. Another annoying aspect of the new OS is that each time I connect the new iPhone 11 Pro to my Mac Book using a USB cable, I am prompted to “Trust” the computer and to enter my passcode. I am using the same cable and the same Mac Book. In other words, I would save your money and wait for the next iPhone hopefully it will be fully functional and not a terrible phone like the new iPhone 11 Pro is. As honestly, if I was in the country before my return period expired I would have returned this phone and reactivated my iPhone 7 as it was more reliable and I could actually capture all the images I wanted to capture; as a picture at a lower resolution is better than no image at all!

It is not a whole lot different than the iPhone X. But it’s faster and same amazing quality. The camera does work much better.

love my phone but apples updates can be a little glitchy at times. the color is the best part and the camera of course.

I was upgrading from an iPhone 8 and The 11 pro is a nice upgrade. Camera and screen are great and the phone is much faster.

Enjoy the long life battery power and new swiping features. Perfect size, not too big not too small. Best Apple phone I’ve had yet.

There are two specific things I love about this phone. 1. The battery life is incredible and 2. The camera takes beautiful pictures!

So far, so good. it's a great phone. The camera is significantly better than the iPhone 8 i traded it in for. Best Buy always provides great service when upgrading vs going directly to Verizon. The lack of a home button takes a little getting used to.
