The ultra wide lens is a game changer. My other favorite feature of this phone is the matte glass. When the iPhone started with the glass back I really missed the aluminum back. This matte glass allows for wireless charging while making it look like metal. And they finally added a fast charger with the phone. Wouldn't want any other phone.

As a serious photographer, however, I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy S 10 as a superior camera with more features and benefits, including three lenses. Alsco, it is a much better value whenever there is a deeply discounted sales price. Apple seldom offers their products with such discounts.

The phone honestly isn’t too much different than my iPhone 8 but I like that I don’t have to charge it every five minutes. It has glitches a couple times.

The right features and the right size for me

Love the face recognition for both me and my husband as well as the usual thumb print security. Camera is awesome as I am the official photographer on all our vacations. Even better support now for finding the phone and all our other Apple devices. Will be keeping this one for a long time as it bot meets and exceeds all my needs/uses.

Gone is the center button allowing you to switch from app to app. Everything is done with a swipe. That's fine, but the swipe to see all open windows (so I can close them) has a longer learning curve. Sometimes I swipe and swipe before I get what I need. The camera, however, is worth the hassle. Photos are crisp and colorful.
