Brought to Apple store and questioned during my phone being serviced for a panic kernal issue (replaced), also just months old and was told there was nothing they could do.

The lip barely goes over the "glass" part of the phone. I wouldn't trust this unless you are a hermit in your house and floors are surrounded by those foam absorption pads.

The phone is fine and I would guess it broke from being taken off and put back on a few times. Way overpriced.
