What are you doing Apple?

Didn't drop, scratch or anything else. Just would not turn on one morning. Fortunately we purchased Total CAre and it was replaced. My mom just had the same thing happen with her iphone 14. No logical reason -- just wouldn't turn on one morning about 4 months after purchase. Mine happened about 3 months after purchase. What's going on Apple?

But I really don’t see much of a difference from my XR. Additional camera is Ok, extra memory standard is great. But reception is the same as the 4G in my neighborhood. I live 2 miles from I-10. Good solid iPhone- but nothing special about it.
