The bottom portion only covers the edges, leaving the speaker/microphone and middle exposed. This a case is just a basic case to cover the phone. It is a smooth plastic that does not give the person holding the phone the ability to fully grasp it. Apple should stop trying to sell this at the same price as the silicone case. This case at most is worth $9.99. Buy only if it's the last thing available on earth.
