I’m sad to say the IPhone 15 Pro Max is possibly the worst phone I’ve had in nearly a decade. After reluctantly switching to IPhone from my flagship Samsung phone, I’ve had possibly the worst experience with a phone since 2013. This phone has overheated and disabled itself during calls and randomly shut off with 50%+ battery several times under normal use. Chances are I may have gotten a lemon, but bad timing given it’s someone switching from Samsung for the first time. Needless to say I completely regret the switch and am now out $1200. The phone feels cheap compared to nearly every flagship Samsung phone I’ve had since 2013 as well. The titanium is a good gimmick, but really doesn’t hide the seemingly poor build quality. I went into this switch with high hopes, and was surprised by the obvious lack in quality control (not to mention the obvious reduction in quality relating to user experience, but I’ve chosen not to let that into this star rating as it’s mostly just personal preference compared to my experience with Samsung.) On another note, I was misinformed by Best Buy staff regarding the AT&T promotional offer, so I ended up paying roughly $400 more for the phone than I was expecting. This is ok, but is now a bit of a pain now that I’ve had such a poor experience with the product itself.

Just got finished setting it up today and it’s such a great upgrade from my 12 pro. Literally the modem has improved greatly as I have much better signal in areas previously not as strong, I feel like my AirPods sound slightly better now too probably better Bluetooth, the battery is great so far, the camera/video really great improvement, the larger size is nicer too, the 120hz looks good to finally have on my iPhone, and the chip seems to run this phone great and probably will for the next 3-4 years till my next upgrade. I thought the action button was touch but it’s a button lol. I love type C on this phone less cables because I use a Samsung A54 secondary phone, M1 iPad and M2 MacBook. If you have iPhone 14 PM idk why you would even be considering an upgrade just wait

I should have done more research before getting the iPhone 15. I didn't realize this phone has data transfer issues unless you use iCloud. YouTube saved me! The phone runs hot and the battery doesn't last as long as a new phone should. Apple has been adding IOS updates to fix some of these issues.
