read a lot about this phone saw a bunch of reviews and tested most. On one review it said the modem is much better and reception has improved I agree because coming from work I tested and as I always get choppy service in a particular area, and it was clearer throughout. this rest is almost identical. One thing I notice and it's big for me is the audio. that suffered. I tested side by side and my 13 pre max was solid clearing smooth. The new 15 pro max obnoxiously loud and crackling almost like it in a box vibrating. I tested it with the classic old phone ring tone even my wife with showing which one is which, said she liked the 13 pro sound was solid. I will be keeping my paid off 13 pro max and returning the 15pro max, Pretty disappointed. I should have know even Apple weren't really pumped about this new phone. Watch the event. The Camera on the 13 pro max is already amazing. If you don't use the camera in a professional position don't even bother this is an amazing phone already. ( 13 pro Max )

Excellent purchase. Battery life is the best. My old phone’s battery would have died 3 times while this one had s still going.

This phone has an extremely high-powered processor that generates an insane amount of heat, especially when it is charging or you are playing a game or running a demanding application. Apple decided to sandwich this high-powered A17 chip in between glass and titanium with an aluminum internal frame. Apple also decided to forgo any kind of upgraded passive thermal cooling - namely, they decided not to utilize a vapor chamber to effectively disperse and dissipate the large amounts of heat generated by this phone. When you combine weak passive cooling in the form of graphene with a titanium outer frame (titanium is far less thermally conductive than aluminum), you end up with a large amount of heat concentrated on the SoC with nowhere to go. This chip gets hotter and hotter until eventually, when the heat does permeate the titanium frame, the phone itself is nearly 120 degrees Fahrenheit in the hand. All of the upgrades made to this phone are fully offset by the amount of thermal throttling and degradation this phone's technology will rapidly experience due to lack of inclusion of vapor chamber cooling. You are much, much better off picking up a 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max and upgrading in the future once Apple has decided to integrate cooling upgrades that have been available in the cell phone marketplace for years at this point.

Excellent phone. This iPhone is more of a small evolution. Screen, camera, and sound all get improvements to make an excellent seamless phone.

Large format makes it easier to see the screen. I like the extra memory which is standard on this model.
