I went from the iPhone 13 to the iPhone 16 Pro, I’m in love again with my phone.

Absolutely terrible experience purchasing an iPhone from Bestbuy! My order included a trade in with Verizon and $1,000. TLDR, I didn’t get it easily. I had to jump through some hoops. After receiving my new phone, I had no instructions to send my trade in back. The email from Bestbuy says to login to Verizon to redeem my the trade in credit. But no information was available when I logged into Verizon. I called Verizon twice and they said there’s no trade in information. To make it worse, Verizon was charging me the full retail price on a payment plan. Bestbuy trade in program is broken!

I bought this iPhone 16 from Best Buy and 5 days later tried to switch carriers from Verizon to Spectrum and Best Buy will not unlock the phone. I now have to wait 60 days to have this phone unlocked. I tried everything but no one is willing to unlock the phone so that Verizon can release me to go to Spectrum. I am very frustrated because my 3 other lines were transferred but my new iPhone from Best Buy will not because they sold me a locked device.

I purchased the phone for next day delivery. The carrier Best Buy is using, On Trac, is terrible and it is 4 days delayed right now, no updates, no customer service, no way to change for a pick up at a local store. On Trac is terrible and there are tons of bad reviews online. Terrible experience!

Definitely wish this one worked as good as 13 pro not sure if is me or this phone but something changed!

Solid S year upgrade. I generally prefer upgrading during an S year where there is a consolidation of features rather than having new untested features. And this is the year I upgrade from my 13. Apple intelligence is not a factor in my purchasing decision, it's not available on release, might add half a star due to it and unless it makes Siri worse than it currently is I can't imagine subtracting a star for it. Pros Thin bezel is visually striking Performance and battery both seems good, similar to the upgrade from 12 to 13 Camera is solid, new photographic style actually let me customize a default style where there are shadows and contrast Usb C, bye Lightning Camera button is nice to launch the camera app reliably so I can map the Action Button for something else. Cons The bezel being so thin causes issues with using this phone without a case which was the original intent A case is also needed due to how large the camera bump is this year. It does not feel comfortable sitting on a table without a case Zoom camera really underwhelming compared to Android counter parts Camera button not particular useful IMO for adjustments, quicker with touchscreen Camera button not good for taking pictures, requires probably 3-4 times as much force as my mirrorless to press. Results in change of framing. iOS 18 has been fairly buggy early on, no deal breakers but some annoyances 8GB RAM instead of say 12, feel like the Pro should get more. I feel like this is a good year to upgrade if you are starting to have performance/battery issue with your old phone. But if you like to jump in for new features this seems like a year to pass. I'm firmly in the former camp and would much prefer year 2-3 of a package after refinement and consolidation which this seems like.

Terrible service. Qualified for a 1100.00 credit and have never gotten the credit. Called multiple times and was told sorry they didn’t help.

Staff was super helpful. Hoewever, a couple weeks afterwards I had two fraudulent charges at Best Buy and had to replace my credit card. Best Buy had access to my iPhone and credit card and it appears to not be a random coincidence that the fraud was at Best Buy

The first phone purchased had a number of quality issues - text messages not coming thru, phone was hot, battery would not fully charge, volume would change on its own. The replacement would not start after a night of charging. If you search online you will find that this is a common problem with the iPhone 16.

Very bad experience. It took 2.5 hours to pick up an online order for my iPhone 16.

Listen, people who are saying don't upgrade if you have the most recent phone are correct. If you don't have the most recent phone maybe a few years or more older than yes it is worth the upgrade. I don't put 5 stars just cuz the prices are always ridiculous.
