Nice upgrade from the XR, I do feel these phones are really really expensive. Protective cases that actually work are exceptionally expensive as well - the whole cell phone experience cost is enough to put you in the poorhouse. This will be the last upgrade till it either doesn't work anymore or the operating system can't be upgraded. The biggest negative I have with this phone after using it for about two months is the super hyper sensitivity of the screen, sometimes I feel like it has a mind of it's own spazzing out and doing what it wants. I think this is because of the larger screen size and the fact you have nowhere to put your hands without invoking some unwanted function. This is especially prevalent when handing the phone to someone else to see something on it, by the time the person gets the phone, whatever you want that person to see is long gone. There are too many functions integrated into the swipe and flick functions. Otherwise I like the phone... Jury is still out on the new operating system. Siri is still just as STUPID as ever, and she doesn't understand southern either. Siri also has this bad habit of cutting you off too soon, heaven forbid if you take breath while asker her something.... The camera function I feel is the best upgrade as I use it all of the time - so happy with that. Battery life I hope will be better than previous iterations of the iPhone. I'd like the nag screens for the addons to stop - don't need the extra expense to an already expensive phone to pay for the "apple" branded bloatware.

The phone is a great phone. The new iPhone 17 pro takes beautiful pictures & the sound is very clear. The battery seems to last forever compared to my old 11 pro! I get at least a full day+ on a single charge researching & playing a few games! The service I received at the store was extremely great! The young gentleman who helped me was very patient with helping me try to resolve getting a new phone while not being able to access my 1 time pin sent by text to my black screened broken phone!

The iPhone 17 Pro is a very good smartphone — it’s sleek, fast, and polished — but for most users I’m not convinced it’s a game-changer. Compared to the iPhone 16 Pro, the improvements are incremental: a few camera refinements, a slightly brighter screen, and a newer chip, but none of these are likely to meaningfully impact everyday usage. It doesn’t represent a huge upgrade. If you’re coming from an iPhone 15 Pro or older, there’s clear value. But if you already own the 16 Pro (or close), you may want to wait — the benefits just don’t feel dramatic enough yet to justify the cost for many users.

Coming from an iPhone 13 Pro. I was going into the 17 pro with low expectations. After using my phone for a few months. I can definitely say battery performance, speed, camera quality, and sound quality are amazing! Great trade in promo from ATT further solidified my purchase.

Awesome phone! It is so much faster and cleaner than my old iPhone 12. The battery lasts much longer and the newer features like finding my phone with my watch has been a huge blessing

Much better than the 16, this one has a vapor chamber which spreads the heat across the whole thing, keeping it much cooler. Battery life is improved and the phone never throttles due to heat.

I got this phone for myself and it has been the best phone I’ve had yet! The battery life is way better than my previous phone and the camera is top tier! Best Buy came in clutch since I needed the phone sooner and they were the only place that still had it in stock!

Apple phone is eas to use and camera is great. Recommend

I bought myself and my son the new iPhone 17 Pro for Christmas. We both love them. The battery life is very good and so far the phone performs well.

I "upgraded" from my 14Pro as I was thinking a newer model would give better response times, more security. I absolutely dispise the "silence" button that now sticks up instead of has a snap up/down button. I was silencing my phone inadvertently with that stupid button and have resorted to putting a small piece of white cardboard & tape so it sticks out, no more silencing by mistake but it looks like crap. Not happy at all. The camera: the little circle that flips the screen is too sensitive, Im in the midst of taking a vid or pic and just barely touch that area and the screen flips for an unintended selfie, I have my old phone right here and have tried to replicate it and its not at all this sensitive. Security: Soon as I started using the new phone, I got slammed with scammers/spam/ on the text. Really??? Apples weather app, ugh...what happenned? My 14 had no problem always loading up till just before I "upgraded"; half the time this new phone doesnt load. Overall, I am not happy with overall performance, the battery isnt as good as the hype, lots of little quirks in this phone; this is my 4th iphone so its not an unfamiliar item. The box this phone came in was pretty beat up, didnt realize this till I got home but now I wonder if this was a return and got someone elses issues.

This phone is amazing. Upgrading from an 8 makes this the best choice. I really like the Orange color and the battery lasts so much longer.
