Overall this is a good phone although I got a bad apple on this one. I can only talk on speaker right now because the normal phone speaker stopped working only a few weeks after I bought it.

I had this phone for about 8 months before I gave it back and traded it for an iPhone 5. It was just really boring and the 3G coverage couldn't even be considered coverage...it took forever to load pages in Safari and if the pages DID load, the text was so small that you couldn't read it. The screen on this phone is pitiful. It has an excellent Retina display but the fact that's a little more than 4" is just sad...if you like to text or read articles or watch movies, I recommend getting something with a bigger screen.

Very dissatisfied, service from provider is not like it shows on the map. Have never dropped this many calls. Purchased because my son recommended it, maybe it's a generation gap but I think it is a pile

I had the 4S up until recently when my upgrade became available. That means I had the 4S for 3 years until making the switch. The iPhone 4S, despite its age, still performs quite flawlessly and quick. It has Siri, which was the highlight of this generation. Although it may hiccup every once in a while, things overall run very smooth and problem free. Compared to the iPhone 4, this thing is extremely fast!

What's great about the iPhone 4s is it has great apps and the camera quality is perfect. It's easy to access and navigate the internet. What's not so great about the iPhone 4s is the battery life. The battery life drains quickly after you're on the internet for about an half in hour. Also Siri capability to understand your request. To have to repeat yourself a dozen times becomes a headache.

I was sort of nervous when I had a choice between this phone and the Galaxy 5, since I already have the Ipod Touch 5 so I was sorta like why get the iphone 4s when I already have an apple product? But I'm sure glad I did! I have had this phone for a couple of months now and I absolutely love it. From texting to apps I really love this phone and actually prefer it over the Iphone 5s (which I know sounds strange)! Also I'm was very relieved that battery life for my phone has been really great! Since I know some people say the battery life can be very poor for Iphones altogether I thankfully find this to be quite the opposite with this phone!

Great phone, has enough storage as a starter phone. Only issues are with the software updates.

We have 3 iPhone 4s. The phones are okay although we had an issue with one where the system software needed to be reloaded daily. Eventually the restore process stopped working and wouldn't complete leaving the phone unusable. I brought it to Sprint & the Apple store and was told by both parties it was a faulty phone. I brought it to Best Buys Geek Squad in Burnsville MN and they told me it was a software issue and wouldn't be covered under my $15 per month service plan per phone even though in my opinion the issue clearly fell under the normal wear & tear policy of the plan. Long & short, the phone is okay, but save your self a bunch of money & don't buy the worthless protection plan. The only thing it will help fix is Best Buys stock price!

For the price of it, it's great. Camera quality is a little bad, but it's still a good phone. I would like to upgrade, but I can't afford it.
