I have had the iphone for over a month now and it is fantastic. I read review after review between samsung and apple and finally purchased the apple. Battery life has been great and the video/camera has been a life saver catching precious moments with the family. Just purchase it and see for yourself. I am glad that some people like the samsung but I did not need a screen the size of a car navigator. My phone is primarily in my pocket and I don't have to worry about it falling out.

The iPhone 5 on Verizon is probably the best piece of hardware on the market but the software needs work. iOS is rapidly becoming stale and boring in comparison to the other offerings from Android and WP8. iOS has not changed in appearance in 7 years and honestly may never change. Hopefully apple realizes that iOS needs a fresh coat of paint if they are to continue to lead the mobile market.

Great phone great picture sound and its very fast and the speakers are loud

My first experience with a smart phone and I am very pleased with every aspect of the device. Although I am still learning all that can be done, I find it very user friendly. I especially love the ability to share information with my iPad. I enter information one time and it is on both devices. The ability to take a panorama picture is real neat.

Just got an Iphone 5 for my wife it's her first smartphone and she's been very happy with it. It's easy to use, battery lasts a decent amount of time. The apps for this generally cost more than comparable apps for android, other than that you get basically the same stuff. I wish they'd make an iphone that compares with the Galaxy S4 in size. I've gotten used to a bigger phone and really wouldn't want to go with a smaller phone.

Smartphones are definitely a personal choice that ought to be researched for what you hope to get out of it. Personally, I am a fan of the iPhone for the following reasons: 1) Quality of build - you aren't going to get a $200 piece of plastic. I know the cost of it has more to do with what is inside, but the packaging should feel like a premium product if I am going to drop that kind of money on it. 2) Holds its value - every time you upgrade you will be able to sell your iPhone (if you take care of it) for at least what you would need to upgrade to a new device. This alone will save you a tremendous amount of money in the long run. 3) App ecosystem - when you buy a smartphone you are expecting to experience all it has to offer: music, games, productivity, etc. Nothing can match what is offered for the iPhone and even while Android is catching up, the iPhone is the first place developers go when producing their apps. Those are just a few of the reasons I have bought into the iPhone over other smartphones. Good luck on your search.

I had an android for a year and half. Yeah, this phone blows any android phone out of the water. Super fast and the LTE works great. The retina display keeps me wanting to use it. You must get some sort of case for this phone. It is fragile.

I used to have the note 2 and the galaxy s3 this phone beats both. I was big on android for years and I'm glad I made the switch.

I love the iPhone and was so happy to finally get the 5. It's less expensive now that the 5s is coming out, but this phone has everything I need and more. The battery and camera are probably my favorite features.

I am coming into the world of iphone from the the word of droid. I must say the differance is night and day. I went thru 3 droid x phones in 2 years because they would constantly crash, lock, freeze or just have a mind of their own. The iphone is a breath of fresh air. it does everything its supposed to do when I want it to. No muss no fuss. I can easily see why iphone sets the bar that everyone else is trying to reach.

I decided to break out the money and buy the Iphone and I am so glad that I did. Being an Andriod user, I have nothing against it but.....this phone is simple, and it didn't come with lot of "junk" apps preloaded and I appreciate that. I love the size of the phone and it is not so big like the other phones. I also purhcased one time warranty fee which it is worth every penny. You won't be sorry to buy an Iphone!!! I had wished that I had done it earlier!!

iPhone 5 is a great phone. Much faster than even the 4s. Apple has definitely hit another home run.

I had a Blackberry for 5 years before I tried the IPhone. The IPhone is in all ways superior! It may cost a pretty penny more but it is worth it. Apple's proprietary business practices can be a pain in the butt, but if you know your way around computers you will have no problem working around that.

I was talked into this phone by some buddies.... i like it i geuss, heres the thing, i come from android. they said " its got a huge screen" my old phone was .5 inches bigger... they said "its 4g!" so was my old pone... they said "its got siri!" i had google voice. They said "its integrated for facebook" Android has been integrated for as long as i can remember, and on a lot more than face book. Now, i know it sounds like im another android fan dissing the Iphone... im not, this is a great phone. my family members love it. im just not totally impressed, i figure it took them 2 years to release this, why doesnt it have anything state of the art? I was just expecting more. i ended up trading this for an S3 2 days after i got it, because the Droid was too much for my friend and the Iphone was simpler... so there's that :/ I guess to sum it up, If you want a super reliable phone, thats easy for a newcomer to smartphones, backed with great customer service, then go for it, you wont be upset. If you want a small computer that ca make phone calls and do everything and Iphone can and more(alhough, you have to learn to use it) get an android phone (probably the GS3 or Gnex) its not rocket science, get the phone that feels right.

This is my sister's phone and her second iphone. She loves it and will probably never buy anything else. It's easy to use, which is a plus, and has a pretty ironed out interface with few bugs. It would be nice if the screen were a little bigger like some of the newer android phones.

I think personally the 4g is enough of an upgrade for me. I have come from using nothing but iPhones since the 4 came out for Verizon all together awesome phone

Have always had an I-phone. Never disappointed with the exeption that I had to update software to take care of a billing issue. Phone was be charged for cellular data not being used!

I love how versatile this phone is, apps, music, and a phone all in one. What's not to love about this phone? I don't need anything else. Need I say more?
