    Overall a great phone

This is a good step up from the 5, but still lacks in areas such as battery life. The new 64bit chip adds a bunch of speed to the phone which is always a plus.

    The best iPhone yet!

I upgraded from the 4S to the 5S and what a difference in phone speed. The applications load a lot faster and there are a few more added goodies such as the fingerprint sensor that helps you open the phone with ease. If you haven't upgraded yet, you definitely should. The larger screen and the upgraded technology is worth it alone.

    Another Smash Hit From Apple

As an avid Apple fan, I was eager to get this new flagship device. As with most Apple products, it did not fail to measure up. I’m deeply invested in the iOS ecosystem, and that made setting this device up extremely simple. Configured my iCloud account on the 5S, and everything just showed up (contacts, calendars, reminders). A quick restore from my iCloud backup and my apps were there too. The battery life on this phone is great, it’s lightweight to carry, has a beautiful screen, and as most Apple products do, "it just works".

Had a 16GB iPhone 4S and traded it in for the 32GB 5S and I'm very happy with it. The extra storage is great for music and pics, the new camera features and great. Apple still top of the line to me

The Best iPhone since the iPhone 4s

I have been using iPhones since the 3gs and I always said that the 4s was the best iPhone. Not anymore the 5s tops the 4s. This phone, the iPhone 5s and the galaxy note3 in my opinion are the two best phones on the market right now.

Apple has done it again with the A7 chip. It's super fast to download pages and videos. I really recommend it over other brands.

Upgrade from iPhone 4 for my Son

I also purchased 64GB version of this same phone; see that review for a more professional oriented review. From a teenager's standpoint, this phone is used more for text, YouTube, and Reddit than anything else. With any teenager, as long as you buy the warranty and protect the device with a good quality case, then the product is good money spent. As a parent, I enjoy that we all have Apple phones tied to the same iTunes account. This allows us to share the same music and apps with a single purchase.

    Good camera, not much else

I switched from a Samsung Note 3 because the camera quality was poor and slow and that is a feature I use a lot. I had an iPhone 4S for 2 years prior so I thought I knew what I was getting with my 5s but not so. The battery life is awful even with all location services turned off and all the battery saving tips utilized. The call quality is much lower than either of my previous phones. There is no fun features like widgets or ability to customize everything. It finger prints and collects dirt like crazy. If you want an overpriced simple phone with a good camera, this is fine. If you want a dynamic phone with lots of user friendly features and a battery to last all day, this is not recommended!

First iPhone for me, pretty buggy

I've always been a really big android guy. I've had every samsung phone since 2009. This was my first iPhone. After a few days, it began restarting randomly and freezing. The screen would randomly turn blue as well. I exchanged it the 15th day. This second one I have has done the restarting as we'll. this phone is just overall buggy. iPhone users never admit there's a problem with their phones, but I've seen it for myself. Overall it's an ok phone.

    Poor inconsistent feature reliability

    Posted .

Since the IOS upgrade the performance of older models of the iPhone are unreliable. I believe user evidence will support the proposition Apple recognized the IOS upgrade was tailored for the newer phones. Well, while resenting what appears as planned obsolesce, the newer 5S features functional reliability are inconsistent especially the fingerprint access feature. Give a renewed choice after this purchase, I would steer friends to the Samsung products. Regrettable but this model, the forced cloud integration for device synching, and the potential invasion of privacy is disappointing.
