The user interface isn't user-friendly compared to the HTC Android I had before. And the iPhone 5s is unreliable. It completely froze after 1 month of use (continuously blinking Apple logo). Took 3 hours to recover it, and while my contacts and settings were intact, all my apps and music were gone. Too unreliable for a cell phone, too light to make a good boat anchor.

Would like to give a good review but after ordering thru best buy.com I got hacked for $3000 worth of goods. What a nightmare with Best Buy customer service to get it corrected. Never, ever Again

I take a ton of pictures so the camera is very important to me. The pictures from this camera are amazing. The focus is much faster then my old 4S and the built in burst mode is kick butt. It is a little odd that you don't see all of your burst mode pics until you do a photo dump into iphoto but the camera picks the best ones anyway. I used this phone to take pictures of my trip to Disneyworld (lots of low light, fireworks, and motion pictures, plus lots of deep colors and detail) and it rarely let me down. If it did, it was because it is not a dslr cam, and you have to sometimes remember that. But overall, I am thrilled with the results. I also took it to California for a trip to LA and the bright sunlight worked really well with the camera as well. The rest of the phone is great too, save for the calendar app in iOS7. I use FantastiCal instead and all is well. With the 32Gig iphone, you never realy have to worry about running out of room for apps and pics and video (of which it also takes awesome video). When taking calls, the speaker is much louder and clearer then the 4S I had, and they even added new ringtones and text alerts in iOS7 for you to play with. This is my 5th iPhone. I had the original, the 3GS, the 4, the 4S and now the 5S, and Apple has made me happy yet again. While I am always excited to see what they have up thier sleeve for the next iPhone, I am really happy with my purchase.

Upgraded from a white iphone 4S. Although I missed the form factor of 4S, this phone improves in all prospect. It has faster processor, faster LTE, faster wifi, faster and improved camera and better screen. The only thing I don't fully satisfy is battery life. But I know this is the physic limitation, hope they can improves in few years. Overall, I am satisfied.

I have owned 2 3GS', 1 4, 1 4s, 1 5, and now the 5s. No I didn't own the iPhone first gen or 3G I was using a blackberry back then and loved my blackberry very much. I have never been disappointed with an iPhone each one has been better than the one before. Since iOS 5 I have easily restored each iPhone from the backup of its predecessor without an issue having my information move flawlessly. This year me daughter got her first smartphone and although I wanted her to go apple (the parental restrictions are awesome) I let her decide what smart phone she wanted with no influence. She did get the iPhone tho haha smart girl. Any way this phone is everything that it is suppose to be, no cheap android gimmicks the fingerprint scanner works flawlessly the phone is insanely fast and very we'll built. iOS 7 is amazing I had it in beta on my iPhone 5 and having it Already built into the 5s was awesome.

I've upgraded from a iPhone 4S. The fingerprint sensors is awesome, and I still wonder why I haven't upgraded my iPad to have the same feature. I love the performance of the phone. The size is perfect, where I think the iPhone 6 is to big.

Longer lasting battery and quick online access makes it an excellent upgrade to an already great product.

Not only was I dissapointed by customer service, upgrading from a 4s was not even worth it!

Went from a iPhone to a android a few years ago. I just got tried of all steps needed to do something simple. Plus I don't need a large screen that barley will fit in my pocket. After setting up the new 5s I was very happy with my decision to abandon android. phone feels great in my hand and I can very quickly with just my thumb complete any task. Very fast and great features. love it

I upgraded from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5s and have had it for five months now. Almost everything is ideal. I love the screen and the screen size. The camera, and iPhoto streams, work wonderfully. The apps and Apple infrastructure are great. I read books on the phone and it's very convenient not to need a second device for that. Battery life is good, phone functionality is good. I like the metal on the back; I tend to like a bumper case, and the metal seems more scratch-resistant than the glass of my old iPhone 4. It responds quickly and restarts fast. I love FaceTime with my family. On the negative side, the fingerprint reader doesn't always work for me. It's habit-forming though -- I find myself holding my finger to the button on my parents' iPhone 4s's all the time. Also, I find the video from the camera on the back of the iPhone doesn't do well in dark rooms, which is a pity, because the still camera does quite well.

I always upgrade every year! This is my third iPhone, I always buy the 16GB version but this time I needed to buy one with more memory due to I now use it for business and I need to save my music! I always got the black color but this time I wanted to try the White and Gold selection and it looks sleek a lot of people could say its for girls but it really doesn't look or feel girlish... It's an awesome phone and it seems it has better battery life than the iPhone 5 did! Fingerprint sensor is a big bonus for me!!

I upgraded from the 4S to the 5S and what a difference in phone speed. The applications load a lot faster and there are a few more added goodies such as the fingerprint sensor that helps you open the phone with ease. If you haven't upgraded yet, you definitely should. The larger screen and the upgraded technology is worth it alone.

This is a good step up from the 5, but still lacks in areas such as battery life. The new 64bit chip adds a bunch of speed to the phone which is always a plus.

This is my second iPhone - I decided to stay with the iOS ecosystem. A noticeable improvement over previous generations, faster operation, faster internet browsing, and much better photo quality. Siri works better than I expected, and gave me voice navigation over an unfamiliar stretch of road only a couple days after buying the phone. Don't expect miracles, but once I learned what Siri can help me with, I have found it useful. PhotoStream sharing has been an easy way for me to share photos with family and friends, even those who don't have iOS devices. AirPrint and AirPlay have also been useful.

IPhone 5s really light you can put your thumb instead of passcode. Really fast phone better than computer I can watch movies. Takes pics clear n video tape . FaceTime clear no one phone has that.

As an avid Apple fan, I was eager to get this new flagship device. As with most Apple products, it did not fail to measure up. I’m deeply invested in the iOS ecosystem, and that made setting this device up extremely simple. Configured my iCloud account on the 5S, and everything just showed up (contacts, calendars, reminders). A quick restore from my iCloud backup and my apps were there too. The battery life on this phone is great, it’s lightweight to carry, has a beautiful screen, and as most Apple products do, "it just works".

Had a 16GB iPhone 4S and traded it in for the 32GB 5S and I'm very happy with it. The extra storage is great for music and pics, the new camera features and great. Apple still top of the line to me

REALLY LIKE THE FINGERPRINT ID GREAT CAMERA LIGHTER THEN IPHONE 5

I still love the iPhone but though briefly about switching to the Samsung S4 because of the camera but decided against and I'm so glad I stuck with the iPhone. Camera is much improved and the display and speed are great. I like the thumbprint ID feature as well ...plus with my i-cloud my phone, iPad and Mac are all synced and I always have access to my data.

i really like this phone. Easy to use and no issues transferring information from my last iPhone.
