Having issues

Unfortunately it froze for 20 minutes the day after I activated it...froze that I could turn off/reboot nothing...it was at 80% charge so it wasn’t the battery. It finally booted up on its own & battery was at 5%. Since then it has frozen about 4 times and I have had it for 1 week...yes I need to go to get it checked or returned... not enjoying my new iPhone 8.
