the iphone5 crashed- it's been shaky and hard to backup fora year. I skipped over the 6 and 7 as I always want to get the latest version i can get. I like that I can also plug-in charge the 'old-fashioned' way and have the option of a password. Touch-ID does not work well for me- I have damage to my fingerprints due to crafts I do.

I love the size of this phone it is not too small and not too big! The camera is great, my pictures are so much clearer than my old phone!

Although it’s “just the iPhone 8”, its a great phone. I saved up my rewards certificates & traded in my old iPhone 6, so the price of this phone was quite inexpensive. Takes great pictures, charges fast, etc.....can’t go wrong with this purchase.

I’ve had my iPhone 8 a week now and I’m liking it so far. It’s amazingly fast compared to my old iPhone 6! Apps seem to open instantly. The thumbprint reader is also way better. It reads my thumbprint instantly 99% of the time no matter what position whereas with my iPhone 6, I had to reposition my thumb a lot for it to read. I’m still working on some compatibility issues. It doesn’t seem to talk to my Apple Watch Sport as wuickly as my iPhone 6 did and there are delays from my phone to my watch. I also don’t like the vibration on this phone. It’s a lot more gentle and when it rings, sometimes I don’t notice that it’s ringing even if it’s right next to me because it’s so gentle and quiet (and my phone is always on silent). I’m also having some compatibility issues with some of the features in my car and my iPhone 6 seemed to work better with my car.

Great phone and like that the 7,8,X are maintaining the same size of phone and just changing the screen. Camera very good.

Needed to upgrade my iPhone to use my new Apple Watch 3, and this phone has me happy not just for that but way more. Good battery life, lots of storage and takes great pictures

It's been 3 years since I last upgrade my iphone. so since the 5s. with that said the battery life has vastly improved with a larger base memory. Though I have to admit that I wish the earphone jack was removed but there are options like wireless charging and airpods/bluetooth earbuds.

Recently upgraded from a 5s to an 8...super happy with the speed, battery life and screen size upgrade and worth it after recent price decrease

While the iPhone 8 did not get the same accolades as the iPhone 7 or the upcoming iPhone X, it still gives you all the features of the 7. The battery charges very quickly compared to older models. So if you can't wait for the X, than this is a pretty good alternative

My wife had to upgrade her phone and she decided on the latest iPhone 8. Took her a bit to get used to it coming from a iPhone 5C, with the added TouchID, etc., but it was similar enough she didn't have any problems. She loves the extra storage and speed and larger screen.
