    I was in need of an upgrade, but I wasn't wanting an iPhone X, so had decided to just wait until the Fall for the next release announcement. But when they announced the iPhone 8 Plus (Product)RED Special Edition, I knew that was the right opportunity for me to have a unique new phone, plus donate to a great charity!

    Only had it a week so I can't say how it will hold up over time. Moved up from the 6 to this one. Got the Plus this time which I like. Haven't gotten into all the new features, but it seems to be solidly built.
