I got the 8 plus instead of the iPhone X because I didn’t like how Apple got rid of the home button. I wanted Apple to get rid of some bugs and make the iPhone X implement more of its software to improve it.

Battery life is great. The speed is also good as it does not slow down, it also has a good camera, decided to buy because it has the same A11 chip as the iphone X.

Sound quality is much improved, stereo speakers, and now plays longer sound files for messages and such. Upgraded to this from an iPhone 4s that was five years old and still had original battery in it. Plan to get at least another five years out of this phone.

If you’re upgrading from 6 or 6s yes do it. Consider the x. The 8 is better for a lot of people. If you use any kind of android stick with what you know. Get a better newer android phone. Apple people or considering iPhone, the 8+ is a great phone. Do research , talk to people with an open mind. Do not trust a salesman with tons of overstock of anything. Hold the phones learn their capabilities and shortcomings. Ask yourself, what do I use my phone for? A lot of people don’t require a high end phone. Some like ease of use. Some like to customize (android people, you know already if this is you). So many reasons to go in any direction. They all have strengths and weaknesses. Know your own needs and ask what best meets those needs at acceptable price and watch out for the guy who has trouble with you for not accepting his opinion as the word of God. Walk away. I had my Cherry Bomb(nickname for my Iphone) for over a month now. I like the fast internet surfing, great pictures, quick WiFi connection. So far, so good and I haven’t experienced any lagging issues as others had. I haven’t had an iPhone since the iPhone 6+, I went to the Samsung 8+, only because BestBuy had a great gift card deal. I’m very happy to be back and I'm loving the 265gb. Lincoln, Ne. Best Buy mobile is the greatest......THANK U SO MUCH!!!!!

I noticed a huge speed increase from my old iPhone 6 Plus. Still learning all of the new camera functions. I prefer the larger physical size of the phone, as opposed to the smaller iPhone X and iPhone 8, so for those with larger hands, this phone is for you!

Switched from a 5S - love the larger screen. Be sure to have your data transferred - next time I’ll have a pro do it. No texts transferred over & I lost a couple of notes, but the quality is outstanding! (Slight learning curve, but worth every second!!)

This was an upgrade from my IPhone 6 and I was hesitant to go with the plus sized phone. I do a lot of reading on my mobile phone along with emails for work, I am happy that I chose the larger phone and it doesn’t take long to become comfortable with it.

New iPhone purchase has many pluses over my previous one i.e. better camera, quick response to inputs, and longer battery life between charges.

This phone is great, it has a lot of storage it’s easy to learn and navigate through. The camera is so clear. It’s a very good phone

Holds up to the expectations I have of iPhone so far! I had my 5, and 6s plus both for 2 years and never had any functionality, battery life, or any issues from them. They were in perfect condition when I upgraded. Hoping for the same with this one!

The iPhone 8 Plus is definitely an upgrade from the iPhone 6 I’d been holding on to. It runs faster and has a much better camera. I was persudaded in store to get the 8 Plus rather than the regular 8 because of the better camera - but it’s been difficult getting used to the size. You can’t use a pop socket or similar if you want to charge wirelessly, so I’m still figuring out the best way to hold it with one hand. In hindsight, I probably should have spent the extra money for the X since I prefer a smaller device - but overall it’s a great phone.

Best iPhone yet. Upgraded from a 6 plus and couldn't believe how much more this phone had to offer! The photos are amazing, wifi has definitely improved and the new functions of iOS that would make my previous phone lock up are super fun to use!

I had to buy this because my Matt phone (iPhone 6) completely crapped out on me. I was holding out for the iPhone X but didn’t have the time. My work requires me to have a functioning phone and the x was weeks away so I went with the next best thing. The fingerprint scanner works flawlessly without a split second and the phone itself is seamless when it comes to switching apps. The vattery life is phenomenal, especially considering my last home only lasted 30 minutes off the charger. Now I get a full day and a half on one charge with average use. I can’t say given the option I wouldn’t take the iPhone X, but for the price difference, it would be an hard choice. .

This iphone is amazing. It is so much faster and has great new features. I also love the new rose gold color. I really appreciated all the help I got at Best Buy.I had previously waited for 45 min. at the Apple Store and got nowhere. I decided to go to Best Buy to get the help and attention I needed. I will always shop at Best Buy from now on for all my Apple products.

I was a Samsung girl and my family convinced me to switch to iPhone so we could all have the same phone and do facetime. I love the size of the iPhone 8 Plus and the clarity of the screen. Camera takes great pictures as well. No regrets!

Got this as a replacement for my wife's iPhone 5. A huge step up for her. She like the form and the upgrades cameras. There hasn't been any down sides after the first few weeks of use.

Nice to upgrade to the Plus. Camera is great, excellent screen, speedy phone. This was a bit pricey but these aren’t getting any cheaper.

My iPhone 8+ is 'elegant', 'practical' and serves my needs for a cell phone in every respect. In my opinion, the 'competition' is still trying to catch up to the icon.....Apple iPhone and the iPhone 8+ continues the unbeatable tradition.

It’s pretty much like any other iPhone. The one thing I love is the big screen and the fast processor.
