I was flat out lied to and it is costing me 650...

I think this is BY FAR the BEST phone I've ever had. From the moment I had my first Apple product I was hooked. Even if I got angry with Apple I wouldn't stop using their product, (aggravating because they KNOW that). Sooo user friendly. Such a clear crisp picture and it picks up sound too. Great camera. My iPad Air 2 is 128gb and I use it every single day. It hasn't reached its capacity yet and I have added LOTS of information. But I figured as insanely expensive as this iPhone is I might as well get the larger screen with the largest amount of storage available and if something happens to my iPad I can change over to my 8Plus with no problem. I did get the Geek Squad insurance just to be safe. Love the new (at least to me) Siri. I went with the British female voice! I use Siri a lot and the accent is appealing. The red color is like an expensive paint job on a luxury sports car. I got the red for the black bezel. Hope it lasts as long as my last iPhone.

The first few days it was great, then it stared to slow way down, opening app took over 3min to open up, even emails, text messages basically everything.

I recently upgraded to the 8 Plus from an iPhone 7 model. I decided not to wait for the X(10) model for several reasons. I really enjoy TouchID. I did not want to have to look directly at my phone every time I wanted to unlock the device or make a purchase. Furthermore, although the X's screen is slightly larger with a smaller form factor, the screen is not as wide and is obscured by the sensors. With that said, I prefer the wider screen on the 8 Plus, bezels and all. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are also incredibly fast. When comparing the 8 with Samsung's Note 8 in Geekbench, the iPhone's A11 chip wins by a long shot. The camera has several noticeable upgrades from the previous generation (7); specifically with image quality, low light performance, and zoom. The 8 additionally supports slo-motion in 1080p, opposed to 720p on the 7. Wireless charging is not a big deal for me, however, is nice to have and I have found the battery life to be excellent. No, this phone is not an exciting change in relation to its design, but it's a good design and might be something you may want to consider.

I did ask for an unlocked phone but Best Buy gave me a locked one. I brought it to the Philippines and I had to go to an Apple store to have it unlocked.

This was a great phone for one year, but now the microphone doesn't work. Good features, but the quality with iPhones just isn't what it used to be.

Bought this iPhone as a replacement for a problematic iPhone 7S, which had multiple problems, such as, fingerprint ID failing continuously. iPhone 8Plus showed the same flaws in operation and fingerprint ID. Best Buy staff are always overselling products and making exaggerated claims on performance and reliability, especially when it comes to high dollar smartphones.

This phone is awesome because my wife has it too, but I had to return this one because it was very slow.

The phone was bought with apple care and had a manufacturing problem. Despite the purchase of apple care through Best Buy their geek squad at the store denied helping out. In the past one used to still pay a small amount and the phone would get replaced. Specially because there is no physical damage and the defect on the microphone is shutting the phone off.

Seems smaller and no different than the 6plus - expected to be so much more impressed!

I had several issues with this series and so did my husband. Just upgraded to the 11 max pro! Thank god I did!

This phone was trouble from day one. I am unable to receive calls . The phone goes directly to my email. No one has been able to call or leave a message because the voicemail doesn’t work either. I have been to the at&t store 2 times and the assocIates cannot figure it out. Now I have to drive to the apple store which is an hour away. I will probably get a different model.

I purchased this iPhone as a Christmas gift for my grandson (age 22). He has a photography hobby and owns many cameras. He is delighted by the quality of photographs taken with the iPhone 8 plus. On the day of the purchase I learned of the AT&T promotion offering two phones for the price of one. I took advantage of the promotion and have upgraded my phone from a 6 plus to an 8 plus.

Wonderful phone just speaker way to low can’t hear the caller so have to use speaker phone or headset

This phone was horrible from the start. It would shut off and come back on randomly at first. Within a few months, it would overheat and turn off completely. I’d have to put it in the freezer to cool it down and get it to turn back on. I ended up having to buy out the remainder I owed on this piece of junk and buy another phone.

I bought this phone for sprint but couldn’t activate to sprint network. When I put sprint sim, it says sim not supported. Went to sprint store and tried to fix the issue but didn’t work out. Finally went back to Best Buy hoping that may be they replace it but they said they can’t replace it.. and now the phone is useless...can’t use.

The phone has not much different from iPhone 7 Plus
