Great size, great speed, great photo quality. Great small phone.

I am a chronic phone-switcher. I've used the iPhone 6, LG G4, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and now the iPhone SE. I originally had a 16 gb phone and I cannot stress enough: DO NOT BUY IT. 16 gb is not enough. You have to play Apple's stupid game and pay the extra $100 for the 64 gb version. However, once you step up to the upgraded phone, it's fantastic. The phone is blazing fast, comfortable to use, has great battery life, and a great camera. It is just... extremely usable. I'm very happy with it. I'm just a little sour that Apple continues to play games with their 16 gb base phone, although the iPhone 7 has finally increased to 32 gb. The one other negative is that it is tough to type on. I still make a fair number of mistakes with the keyboard because the screen is much smaller than I've grown accustomed to.

Great iPhone at an affordable price. Here's why- Pros: * Great battery life, lasts more than a day * Powerful and feature packed - A9 chip/1.8 GHz, Apple Pay, Fingerprint sensor, 12 MP rear camera, Live photos, hardware supports new iOS features like iPhoto memories and face recognition, Hey Siri, etc. * Nice solid design from iPhone 5. Same screen protector and case works * Headphone jack is present, can use any earphones. Phone comes with great earphones with mic (although you might want to use EarSkinz if it keeps falling off your ears) * Rose gold is a nice luxurious color without being too gaudy. Even for a guy. * Small screen Cons (not a big deal for me): * Small screen - may not be everyone's cup of tea * No 3D touch * 1.2 MP front facing camera - in case you use it for a lot of selfies

This phone works. It is a huge improvement for me over my old 5s. Faster, better camera, more built in options. The size is perfect. As reviewers noted the smaller size (than the 6 series) does not impede function. Reading on the screen is very easy. With a protective case the phone goes right into a pocket or pouch in a small purse. Periodically the BlueTooth connection picks up static, but not often enough to be very disruptive. Wondering if Apple can fix this?

The camera upgrade is amazing, I never had interest in the 6 or 6s due to size, the 5s was perfect size. Now, I have the upgraded camera, and speed and matched with the larger storage 64G, I've got the combo I needed for shoots on the field as I travel. The upgraded speed is a boon to everything from using Gmaps to writing to researching on the go. Finally, the size is exactly the same as the 5s so it's lie nothing changed, not even my OtterBox!

I've had both Android and Windows phones in the past, but this is my first iPhone. So far, I'm really happy with my decision to switch. The iPhone SE is the perfect size and has great build quality. It's a really sleek device. This iPhone replaced a Nokia Lumia Icon, which was also a beautiful phone. It was snappy and the Windows OS was extremely easy to navigate. The problem was that there were pretty much no decent apps. Prior to the Windows Phone, I had an Android phone. I switched to the Windows phone less than a month after buying the Android phone. For me, it was just a preference. I did not care for the layout of the Android OS. My tech friends all love their Android devices because they can easily modify aspects that are otherwise locked down on Windows and Apple phones. For me, I just want something that works and has a good ecosystem; the iPhone fits the bill. An added bonus is that Apple seems to care the most about user privacy.

This is a great phone if you don't need a huge screen but want a great camera and the processing power of the iPhone 6s. Does everything the iPhone 6s does except 3D touch. Battery life is also fantastic and will get you through the day even with moderate usage.

This is the iPone I was waiting for! I had an iPhone 5s and waited through the 6 and 6s, to get a new one. I wanted to wait until they went back to offering one that was similar in size to the 5s. I don't like a phone the size of a small tablet. The iPhone SE was just what I was looking for. It has a faster processor, a better camera, and features like live pictures that the 6s came with. The battery lasts all day, it syncs well with my Apple Watch, and is what I want most - a reliable, sturdy smartphone. The new Otterbox that I had just bought for my 5s fits the SE as well.

I had an iPhone 5 for 3 years compliments of my company. I loved the size and performance. When I retired I had to turn in my phone and number so the search began. I looked at the new 7 and the 6's but after reading up on the SE the choice was easy. I'm an old school guy and don't like to embrace too much change unless it makes sense. This SE is the perfect fit for my hand and pocket. The camera is awesome and with the latest processor it's really fast. I share a data plan with my wife on Verizon and don't plan on switching carriers any time in the near future so the open market phone didn't sway me. I'd recommend this phone to anyone.

We upgraded our older iPhone 5s to the iPhone SE w 64gb. Did not want the larger phones an was delighted to learn this phone is the 6S in a smaller iPhone 5 case. We can use our protective cases from our old phones and it is easier to carry in my pocket! The newer processor is much faster and the camera features are improved. Battery life is greatly improved over my 5! The Best Buy tech was very helpful and much better than the Verizon personnel who seamed they didn't want to sell 3 new phones. Very happy with this phone.

This is my first iphone ever. I've always had android but since much of my family is on apple I figured I'd go for it too. I'm not unfamiliar, however, with the operating system as I have an ipad mini 2. The one and only obvious drawback would be the screen size. I did drop in size since my last phone was a galaxy s4. Aside from that, it's all positives. 64gb hard drive is plenty big. Battery lasts quite well. Applications run quickly. The fingerprint recognition doesn't always work, but that isn't a big deal for me. If you're looking for an iphone and would rather spend around $100 instead of $2-300 for 64gb, this is a worthy choice.

This phone has almost all of the same features as the 6s and the one or two things missing are not important. One is the easy edit feature for text messages. The camera on this phone takes really good pictures and videos. It is fast, light, and still fits nicely in my shirt pocket. The 6s does not do that. I did not want a mini tablet for a phone, so this one has all the features I wanted and still has the right size.

I really like the 4" phone size so that limits me to the SE as the best option. Camera works better in low light than the 5s and the battery life is better. Not much also noted other than more processor power which isn't all that noticeable for the most part as I don't game.

Nice upgrade from a 5s! Good to get the smaller size but with all the speed and most of the features of the 6s at a fraction of the cost.

I came to Apple mainly due to the size of this phone. I have a tablet and a laptop, so was sick of lugging a huge phone around. The iPhone SE has been absolutely flawless! Fast, no lag or lock-ups like my Android device. Battery lasts all day and then some (actually lasts longer than my Droid Turbo did - BY FAR). I have actually grown to like the simplicity and consistency of iOS.

I had an iPhone 4 and I always liked it even though it was old. I mainly liked the way it fit into my hand, unlike the much larger iPhone 6 and iPhone 7. However it began to get very slow, sometimes taking as much as 1 minute to load Facebook...so I finally gave in to get a new phone. I was really glad to find a new iPhone that is fast, with a good camera, and also fits my hand like my old iPhone 4. The iPhone SE is perfect for me and so far I have had no trouble with it.

I used my phone while working and while the larger screen phones are nice, they are not practical for carrying around in your pocket. This maintains the compactness of the old iPhones while upgrading the processor and camera to be up to par with the newer iPhones. A plus is the price point. I cannot rationalize spending almost a grand for a cell phone that will just be old stock 6 months after its release, so this phone also wins in that arena as well.

Keeping the same size of the previous generation allows for easy one handed operation and minimal bulk for rationale people who don't need a massive screen in their pockets 24/7. The power and speed are fantastic, the double RAM of the 5s model makes web browsing tolerable for once, and the battery life finally gets the job done of getting through the day with spare charge left in the tank. This is what should have been offered last fall. Great upgrade.

This is my first iPhone and I really like it. The size is perfect for me, yet it's zippy running apps unlike older similarly sized phones. I also like that it's the classic IPhone design.
