Really love my new iPhone X. The camera takes great pictures and the Face ID is awesome.

My iPhone 6 was getting really sluggish and I thought long and hard about whether to go for an 8 or an X as an upgrade. I'm so glad I went with the X. It's familiar but different enough that I feel like I got something new. The new features take a little getting used to but overall very happy with my decision. The trade in / upgrade process at Best Buy was great too - totally frictionless experience.

I couldn't decide between the 8+ or the X but chose the X since it was closer in size to the iPhone 6s I was upgrading from and I'm honestly not that impressed. Yes, the camera is great on it, but honestly that's about the only good feature this has to offer. I really don't like having Face ID and I wish I could go back to using the thumbprint. Face ID barely works half the time, I've added my face to it under multiple lightings so it would.The first week I had it it froze for a solid 15min. It has cool features and all but it's really not all it's hyped up to be. I thought I was the only one who thought this because I've been on the fence about returning it or not, but what other options are there really? Several people I know who have also recently upgraded aren't that impressed with it either. Be prepared to google how to do most things on it when you first get it because apple made it way more confusing than it needs to be. My main complaint about the phone really is the face ID, other than that, it's a phone, it works, it's just not that great. If you want a phone similar in size to a 6 though, this is the way to go instead of the 8+ unfortunately.

This is my 4th or 5th iPhone. I love the face recognition and the size of this phone!

The camera is phenomenal. The facial recognition works well in even in low light. I haven’t broke down and added the faux home button but I sure miss it! I find closing apps to be particularly difficult.

Love the ease of using even with the phone locked!! Takes beautiful photos! Very glad I upgraded to it and I find the Apple products are easy to navigate and work together with that same ease!!!

Having had the previous version of iPhone, this one is incredible. While having the button on the front, takes some getting used to the largest issue is the that the facial recognition takes a little longer than the old fingerprint scanner. But that’s minor and in time, I’ll get used to that. But the speed, storage and other features more than make up for it. Nice phone.
