I had a iPhone 5 I was replacing and did a lot of research for my needs before I purchased a new phone. I was going to get the iPhone xs originally, because of the size, (I have small hands) but could not justify the cost even though I tend to keep what I am familiar with for a while, so I finally decided on the 8+. Then after talking with the sales person they said the iPhone xr was smaller and the same price and so considering the other options I decided to get the iPhone xr. It is still bigger than the xs (which I liked better) but I couldn't justify the cost difference. Size does matter if you have small hands because your hand gets fatigued faster. But the xr does and has everything I need but the small size.

I have enjoyed my upgrade from the big 8. We did it in conjunction with some plan changes and other incentives. Not having the home button was a pain at first but simpler enough to get used to. Battery life is better and I really like the phone. Overall, if you have a phone earlier than an 8, it is a very smart choice. If it doesn’t cost too much to move from an 8, you will probably enjoy it

Phone is a nice upgrade from my 6s, however, I expected it to be a little larger in size. I got the 128gb and glad I did. The camera is very nice, and the coral color i really love.
