this is my first time using an Apple iphone. I am having trouble using it and I don't like the functionality of the phone. I have been an android user for years but I was talked to buying the iphone. I should have stood my ground because I didn't want one to begin with. Now I have spent over $900 for a phone I HATE! I took it back to exchange it but I was "A few days" past the return date. Ugh! Now I am stuck with it.

I feel badly to rate the phone with 1 star. Was not able to get the phone activated when purchasing it through Best Buy. So the 1 Star rating is really for the Mobile Activation Department. Disappointing that my only option was to buy the phone directly through the carrier.

I have had the 6s & 8 and spent 10 days with the XS. I did not like it. The change in aspect ratio resulting in a taller narrow screen actually shrunk the keyboard and any text not in reader view and it also eliminated display zoom available in the 8 and XR. It felt awkward in hand for no benefit. On paper the XS has many technical advantages. In every day use the XR is superior to me. Much better viewing experience, bigger battery and no visible downgrade from Oled to LCD. The telephoto lens would have been nice, but for the other 95% of my usage the choice is easy. Is it big and heavy? When I put it on my passenger seat it triggers the seat belt alarm! Ha! I'm getting use to the larger size because it's worth it. I paired it with the Speck Presidio Pro for a smooth silky not slippery in hand feel. Some have mentioned the black bezel around the screen. The black case optically removes it. I presume contrasting colors may accentuate the bezel.

Had issues with connectivity. Speaker sucks. Camera is nothing special. Recommend spending the extra money and getting the XS!

Never have had as much trouble with a phone. Voices go out for a few seconds, then come back. Annoying

Received the phone, put sims card in, phone will not power on. Plugged it up to charge, doesn’t acknowledge it’s plugged in, left it plugged up overnight, still will not power on. Was I sold a phone with a completely drained battery? Any ideas ?

The only thing I would say about best buys return policy is that it needs to be extended

Upgrade to the xs I wish I had good phone but quality of the phone sucks

I have to repeat calls about 7-9 times in order to complete a short conversation of 3 minutes. My Android was much easier to use. I didn’t worry about dropping calls or getting through to others. Calls drop in the middle of trying to communicate. Contacted my carrier and they can’t fix problem.

Some phone conversations are not clear. Conversation Volume not louder.

We are not able to activate this Sprint phone. Hours and hours on line and still cannotnuse the phone after 4 days of wasted time with Sprint!

It's an iPhone. I HATE iPhones. However, I somewhat like my kids. So, because of that, I bought this for one of them under extreme duress. I would have preferred to get them a flip phone.

this is very difficult to scroll if you have arthritic hands. hopefully Best Buy will take it back and offer me another choice.

A iphone xr is one of the "latest" iphone. If you are desperatly in need of a good iphone, which works and is fast you should go for this one. But before you buy this, just read this. I was planning to go for the iphone 11, because of the camera features but did not want to spend 50 dollars more. Realize this, your going to have to buy accesories for your phone. I spent 50 dollars on a iphone xr case, which I could have just waited and got the iphone 11. This is a good phone, but if you want more quality for camera pictures you should get the iphone xr. Also, I am not saying the xr's camera is bad. It is very good actually, but the iphone 11 has telephoto and the xr doesn't.
