The case works for what it is intended for. Keeping your phone charged. I have had it for a while but a year or so after I purchased it the rubber covering began to peal off. I don’t use it in any abusive manner and haven’t exposed it to any chemicals. I’m not sure why this would happen?

Phone stay charged all day glad I picked this case up

This case is great when it comes to keeping my phone charged but after almost 7 months the silicone is peeling off and the color is fading in some areas.

If your looking to extended your iPhone XR usage to nearly all day option look no further then to Apple for a first party solution. Apple's Smart Battery Case gives you even longer battery life while offering great protection. And when fully charged, the Smart Battery Case nearly all day battery life depending on your usage as a user. For me this is case is a must since I commute from home to work and use my iPhone XR daily. I take it off the charge in the morning and go about my day by around 7pm-8pm battery case is done and my iPhone will still have a full charge. So I can still keep going. Now you can see your Battery Cases status on the lock screen, Today view, and Widget in iOS 14. Sometimes the iPhone won't show the battery case on the lock screen but you need not worry since the widgets will display the status. Pulling the phone in the case is easy however taking it out takes a little force to remove it. Since I like to switch cases and charge the Battery case faster with out the iPhone in it. Charging the case can be done with either wireless charging or cable charging. If you decided to keep in your iPhone in the case it will charge your phone first then case no matter what way you do it. so for fast out put best you case them apart. Texture of the case feels like that premium Apple Silicone that we all like so it will feel great in the hand and offer a good grip while having good weight. Overall if your a power user and want to extend your iPhone's battery can go wrong with this. Even if the price is a little steep it's the best solution that will work with your device.

Killer phone case. Battery life lasts forever now with my phone battery getting older and depleted. Nice silicon case too. It’s about as heavy as the phone so it’s more weight than before but still worth it. Not that bulky in my pocket and who cares anyway with how much more battery life you have. It’s still a lightning charging port too so nothing has really changed. I can still use a wireless charger with the case too

Good, soft rubber case. Drop protection and doesn't slip out of my pocket. Case battery lasts about 36 hours before phone battery starts to discharge. This case does make the phone feel a little larger and heavier but not too bad. I had the same case on my last iPhone. Definitely saved the phone a few times when dropped and the total battery life made a BIG difference.

Great battery case for backup especially when you are traveling and no need to find a plug point to keep charging in between flights. Definitely recommend. Since it's built by Apple, the battery app integration works great. There are extra lights outside to show how much battery left etc. Given the iPhone XR phone size, you may feel the battery case adding a bit extra size/weight when you hold it or put it in your pocket for the first time but it's worth it. You will get used to it!

I had this product for a few weeks. The first week the batter was strong and lasted 2 days, then after the 2nd week, the battery case didn’t last a full day. It definitely makes the phone heavier and bulkier. I’ve had worse though so it wasn’t a deal breaker. However, my family and friends didn’t like it. They said it look like a brick. I couldn’t stand that it takes a long time to charge. It doesn’t have fast charging so it took forever. I ended up returning it because it wasn’t holding up the initial charge it once had. But it is a good case!

This battery case from Apple is very good. It adds a little weight to the phone but the extra battery is worth it. One downside is that after about a year of continuous us the rubber material on the corners may start to come off. Overall if you can get it at a great price it is definitely worth it. It uses a lightning connector and can charge wirelessly.

This case extends the battery life from most of one day to two days no problem! It does put some weight to the phone but that’s to be expected. I love that it can charge wirelessly! The only real problem I have is how soft the case is to the touch, don’t get me wrong it is lovely to hold and I find myself rubbing it often BUT it makes it easier to drop out of your hand.

I work in the phone industry so I am always on my phone, but not always able to be anchored to the wall on a charger. This little guy gives me valuable battery life on my already good iPhone XR. It gives you the perfect boost. Was easy to take in and out the phone and also keeps your phone looking good. Adds bulk as any extended battery but I love this thing, it is elegant and does what I need.

The caae has doubled my battery life but the weight of my phone as well. It offers great protection and fits perfectly. My other issue besides the weight is that wireless phone charging is not as easy. The phone and case have to be exactly right to charge whereas before I had ‘wiggle’ room with just a plain case and phone. Still love it.

I was very hesitant about the Smart Battery Case from Apple when I first heard about its release. I’ve never had a Battery Case before, and it just looked clunky in all the pictures. I watched and read a few reviews on it, and one day decided I’m just gonna get it. I am SO glad I did! This thing is a BEAST. It’s a little heavy at first, but you get used to it quickly. It feels fantastic in the hand. And the battery life...woah. I’m a decently heavy user, and I haven’t gone lower than 40% on the Battery Case...with still a full charge on my phone! This is a 6am-10:30pm kinda time frame. I love this thing.

If you’re on your phone a lot and put it on the charger, and take it off when it’s not fully charged. This is what you need. It is great. My phone will stay charged for hours, days at most. It’s like a 200% charge! And the best thing is when you need to charge it, you can just plug your case in and take your phone with you while the case charging. It may be a little pricy but totally worth it! So glad they updated it for multiple iPhones.

There's a lot of misinformation about this device. Does it help or hurt your phone's battery? Does it provide enough power, etc, etc... After using this little guy for a few months I am very rarely on the iPhone's battery The few times I am is due to this device failing to properly charge the iPhone's battery. It's weird, sometimes every once in a while the phone will 'forget' it's plugged into a smart case causing it to draining the primary battery while smart case is unaffected. However quickly disconnecting and reconnecting the phone will restore the lightning connection. That's really the only issue I've had with it. Some people don't like the shape of the case. The battery is basically a hump on the back of the case. You either accept this and after a few days and it doesn't bother you, or you go insane and it eats at the very essence of your soul until you return or sell the case. Po-tay-to po-tah-to. The case does a nice job of both feeling comfortable and not being slippery. I can put this phone down on most surfaces and I know it is not going anywhere. This is pretty much the exact opposite of the iPhone itself which is constantly trying to find a way to slip out of my hands and fall to it's doom. The charge on the case battery is strong enough to get me through a day without much hassle. I don't use my phone constantly so I generally don't burn through the whole case's charge before recharging. This means I am rarely using my iPhone's battery. I am still at 99% capacity for a phone I've had since launch. That's not bad. If you jailbreak your Xr you should look into some of the smart battery hacks that will give you a charge amount that includes the smart case battery as a single charge number. That's handy. If your phone starts to gets hot, you should take the case off and reboot. This case can cook your phone if left in this condition. If you are like me and don't always have your phone on your person, then you should be extra aware of this.

Really great case for those that want more battery time for their phone. With this case it would make my phone last the entire day.

Case is fantastic. Battery life is excellent. Wireless charging is cool. Lasts a lot longer than the mophie one I owned before this. Has a great rubber grip to it.

Love the case, very protective. But is a bit heavier and bulky than I was thinking it would be. The extra hours of power is exceptional when needed.

Great quality and a great price. Spent $90 on it. Keeps my battery charge the whole day depending on usage. Keeps my XR safe.
