Didn’t think it would be much of an upgrade but the pics are awesome and the face recognition works great.

I updated from a 7+ and wow, what a difference. Speed, display, facial recognition all light years ahead.

iPhone XS is the best smartphone of 2018! Before my new XS I had Samsung Galaxy s6 edge for almost 3.5 years. I bought it back in May 2015. I was very happy with my old phone, but after 3 years the system start slowing down and I stopped receiving Software updates. Back in January 2018 I bought my wife an iPhone X and I really liked X's fast processor and the True Tone screen. She was convincing me to buy an iPhone and change to Apple products. I finally made a decision in the beginning of October and purchased my first iPhone! I tried XS Max, but felt it was too big, so I bought XS instead and never looked back. I love all the features and awesome specs! Great screen, speedy processor and amazing camera! Highly recommend iPhone XS

Let them rag on this phone. I love it BECAUSE it's the smallest of the recently released iPhones (the XS, the XS Max, and the XR). I needed a new phone and this one is the least huge of them all, and it's plenty big for what you need to see. It looks great, and my only trouble has been with a faulty SIM card, which my carrier promptly replaced. This is my first completely new iPhone, and I'm glad I made it my choice.
