I’ve had my Gold Xs for a week and couldn’t be happier with it. The size is just right. I just spent 5 days in DC taking pictures in all kinds of conditions and it has performed very well as I expected it would. I traded up from an 8+ which was also a very good phone but after a year I was getting tired of the large size. I find I like the FaceID much better than I expected. It works!!! I particularly like that it works for passwords which is fantastic. Speed is great. All in all, I’m very happy with the Xs. Apple has hit it out of the ballpark!

I was nervous to jump to an XS from my iPhone 6 because of its additional weight. I'm pleased to say, it doesn't bother me at all. The phone works great, takes gorgeous pictures and does everything else I need it for. It is VERY fast and the battery holds much longer than my 6.

Bought this phone for my daughter for Xmas to replace her aging iPhone 6. The craftsmanship of Apple products like this one continues to amaze me. Some folks like to criticize Apple for sometimes coming late to the party with technology that has already been available for a while. Fact is, Apple usually continues to lead in mobile phone innovation, but when they do add features that already exist in other products, they nearly always up the game and do it better. Classic Apple is to improve upon an existing concept (like they did with music players, mobile phones, computers, etc). It is for this reason that finally letting go of the physical Home button and the old-style earphone jack have been painless and smooth. It is that "oh, I see" moment you experience when you actually use the product and realize the reason for the changes makes absolute sense. Super fast, smooth, and fluid and packing all the latest tech from Apple in terms of gaming, camera, video, AI, AR, etc.

So far so good with my new iPhone which was a replacement for my iPhone 6. Bigger and more screen area so able to see more. Has taken some time to get used to the swiping motion you use to open things rather than pushing the home button, but the good thing is there are no longer open pages which I would forever forget to close and then spend some time closing them all when it seemed that my battery was depleting or the phone seemed to slow down. I do miss the headphone jack. Great picture and the battery seams to last forever.

I love it. Perfect size to fit in pocket. The XR and X Max are too big. Camera is fantastic and speed and battery life superb. I use a Galaxy Note for work and there is no comparison. Apple just makes intuitive cool Products.

The iPhone XS has been a nice upgrade from my previous 6S+. The OLED screen provides great picture quality and the double cameras take wonderful photographs. The battery life is great - even after streaming videos or scrolling through Facebook. Although it took some getting used to, the weight of the stainless steel body seems to hold up well so far. It is easy to flip between open apps with the “drag and hold” feature. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that Apple always has the same appearance and feel as the older models, making it a little boring. I know that’s the draw for some, especially non-tech savvy people, but it was somewhat of a deterrent for me. It also took me a while to figure out how to open the flashlight or camera while the screen was locked. Other than that, it has been a great phone and I would recommend it to other iPhone lovers.

Love the screen clarity. Fast processing. Takes great photos. But... Apple, don’t try to be different. Just use the same type of headphones plug like everyone else! BECAUSE IT WORKS! Don’t just be different for the sake of being different. You are just being difficult. Also, this phone is really expensive!

Got tired of subpar photos and after much research decided on taking it to the Max. Not only is their a great camera on the phone but due to my eye sight fading the larger phone totally helps. My last phone battery would die pretty quickly and it seems this phone will stay charged all day depending on use. Indefinitely recommend this product. Oh, and one other thing Best Buy offered a great deal and I was able to purchase online and pick up in less than an hour. Thanks Best Buy

As an avid Apple user who usually has his phones for around for years I found this phone to be an incredible upgrade. Now before I post too much about the phone it was on fortunate that my first phone actually had a faulty modem and I had to turn it back in for a new one. Luckily, Best Buy was extremely helpful With replacing the phone and setting me up with a new one and replaced the screen protector that I had on the prior broken phone. As for the phone phenomenal pictures swiping up is extremely easy and the difference betwee 6 and no button is inconsequential. I love the swiping it’s easier! Memoji best thing of all time but I’m a sucker for talking cartoons.

Well done, Apple. This is my favorite iPhone to date. I was skeptical of “the notch” and FaceID, but I realized it wasn’t going away and my 6s was showing it’s age with battery life (although iOS 12 really made it much faster). The experience on this phone is so fluid. It is very intuitive, easy and fast to navigate. And FaceID...nice. I don’t like having to use TouchID on my other devices now. If you’re unsure of these next gen features like I was, I assure you won’t be disappointed. Get one.

Was hesitant to upgrade but very happy I did. Great photos and videos on a recent trip to Africa. The facial recognition is nearly perfect and much easier to unlock this way. Never missed the home button but do miss the headphone jack. The adapter I bought doesn’t work with the phone on my Bose headphones. The price is high but the utility is also high.

Compared to my 6 this phone is awesome! The main thing I don’t care for is the fact that they took the finger print away. Other than that the phone is an awesome upgrade. I love some of the new features, such as, the camera, the screen clarity, the battery life, and the speed at which the phone runs. All in all a great upgrade if you haven’t purchased a new iPhone in awhile.

I bought this around Black Friday as an upgrade from my 6S. Anything new is always better, usually. It’s much faster than my 6S and it has more features, some of which I won’t use. The phone screen is slightly bigger than my 6S, which is fine and battery life seems to be about the same with the time spent on my phone. The battery probably won’t go an entire day with daily web surfing, shipping, emailing, texting, calls, and listening to music here and there. The camera is much better and the portrait mode is a real game changer if you get a chance to use it and edit the photo. The speakers are also much louder before I forget. Not bad sound quality. I wish they didn’t get rid of the home button. This Face ID thing is annoying if you don’t have look directly in the camera. It works, but I don’t care for it. Lastly the only things that I noticed and don’t care for is that one month after buying this phone the vibration motor died and it had to be fixed under warranty at no cost. I wish they would have replaced it. I don’t care that it was a replacement part. It’s no longer a new to me; more like refurbished and I had to reload all of my data and settings. The other issue was that I was unable to connect to a public WiFi the other day while someone I was with could do it just fine on her iPhone X. I troubleshot it, but no luck. It works otherwise.

Handed down my iPhone X to my kid so I upgraded to the XS with higher storage due to Apple Music downloads. A little snappier in every way but not huge leaps. The camera is noticeably better though. I tried the gold version on a whim and I like it even though I keep it in an apple smart battery case

Coming from a 7 plus I love the size of the phone. It has more screen space than my old one and fits in my pocket much easier. The screen is crystal clear and responsive to the touch even with a protector installed. Face ID is a big upgrade, beats thin Touch ID and entering a password any day.

I finally gave up on Android and my Samsung Note 9 after purchasing a 2018 MacBook Pro. I wasn't displeased with my Note 8, but the iPhone just works. My only gripe with the iPhone and iOS for that matter is the fact they there is no included secure folder. Samsung really has the leg up by allowing users to have a secure section of their phone to run apps, and store data. I can get over the idea of not having flash storage on the iPhone because of the storage sizes you can purchase, but not having a legitimate secure storage area is mind-blowing. I store plenty of documents on my phone for quick access at work that I would prefer to keep in a secure folder. I know the iPhone encryption is better than its competitors but that doesn't stop someone from flipping through your entire phone when they have access to it. Overall, the iPhone XS is a great upgrade if you are coming from an older iPhone. I am not sure I would have upgraded had I had an iPhone X though. The lack of a home button and Touch ID was a concern to me, but Face ID is so great that it really is a nonissue. Do not fear the lack of Touch ID. You will soon forget it ever existed with this phone.

I moved from an iPhone 7 Plus to the XS and really don’t regret a thing. While the larger screen of an XS Max is definitely enticing, the sheer size of those plus sized phones in the pocket and hand makes them pretty cumbersome at times. The form factor of the XS seems just right to me and the overall performance on this thing is incredible. So far I have not experienced any lag and everything just seems fluid and responsive as you would expect. It’s almost so fluid that you somewhat take it for granted. The camera is very fast to open, focus and takes great pictures in most lighting situations.

Truly a game changer!! From the screen size and clarity, to the Face ID and the overall ease of use with this phone, there's really no need to consider any other model. Have owned iPhones since the iPhone 4, and must say, this is the best one so far!!
