I had a flip phone for years and was very apprehensive getting a smart phone. I researched many, many smart phones and I picked this one! So happy with it! It was very easy to set up, liked the feel in my hands. Easy to browse, play games, talk, text and the camera is phenomenal! So very happy I had switched phones. LOVE IT!

The new iphone XS Max is a fantastic upgrade! I previously switched from the iphone 6 to the Galaxy S8, lured by the promise of more features and a better camera. After giving it a chance, I'm back to the iphone. This new model has everything I want - speed, memory, a great camera, and the ease of use that only apple provides.

I acquired this because my iPhone 5 began to act up a bit with volume controls sticking or un-responsive. I had just replaced my wife's iPhone with a new XR which she loves. I was concerned with the change in size and the lack of the home button, but after a day, wasn't the least bit troubled by either issue. Speed is very good and call quality is better than my 5. Glad for the extra storage as I was able to load up a number of apps I would never have space for on the old phone. This is where the screen real estate comes in handy as I can view much more of a long email or even portions of a spreadsheet which I would never have attempted on the old small screen. Regardless of the larger screen, I don't envision watching television shows or movies on this device, but in a pinch, it could serve the need such as on a plane trip. Sound quality on audio is good (for a phone) bit I do miss the standard cable connection and the need to buy an adapter which should have been included IMHO. I don't use the camera on a phone much and haven't tried this one yet so I can't say much about that aspect of this highly touted feature. I am a bit worried about the fragility factor relative to the old iPhone 5 without the glass back, so purchased a folio case for it immediately - something I strongly suggest. Battery life seems very good and I haven't really seen an issue with slow charging. If I was that concerned, I would simply attach a backup battery source such as the Otterbox or similar power pack. Overall, this was a superb upgrade since I wanted to stay in the Apple eco-system and I am glad I made the change, relegating my old iPhone 5 to duty as a backup Apple TV Remote Control. This is a factor to keep in mind if you have multiple devices such as Macs, iPads, and multiple Apple TV's as we do. The seamless integration of all of these devices into a harmonious platform that just works without a vast array of third party products and hours of touchy configuration issues is not to be discounted. The Android environment is well supported but not necessarily uniform, and integration and sharing with other platform types not a simple task. I'll stay where I am form now unless something really compelling makes me change. I highly recommend the iPhone in general, and this iPhone XSMax in particular

Coming from the iPhone 8 Plus, I am very happy with the iPhone XS Max due to the screen real estate. In my opinion, this is an improved model of the 8 Plus since the physical size is nearly identical. As usual, navigation in iOS is smooth and consistent even with the newly released iOS 12. Personally, I don’t love the notch and wish it was excluded from this model, but you forget about it after a while. I had the previous iPhone X for a very brief time because it was just way too small for my hands. This is a fantastic incremental upgrade even at the steep asking price. The gold on this years iPhone is my favorite gold yet.

It's been a week since purchasing my new Max. I went from a iphone 7S to this one. First of all I love the full screen and no trim look. It took about half a minute to get over the lack of a home button. Then another half minute to figure out how to "Kill" running programs. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat.

The iPhone Max is a much better than it's name. It has a large beautiful screen that even my old man eyes can read, even without display zoom activated. While I expected better battery life I easily make it through the day and with future updates it'll probably improve. The camera is fantastic and those speakers just WOW

I know i am blessed to have this phone for it is special, fast, sleek, has high resolution and the sound quality is quite an improvement too. Photos are so good! I expect to learn new things about it the entire time I own it now I am less intimidated and more comfortable. Cannot imagine being more pleased!

I upgraded from the iPhone 7 Plus and the XS Max advancements are definitely worth the cost. Face ID works flawlessly even in total darkness. Size and weight are very close to the 7 Plus. Overall smoother and faster than previous models. The "notch" is a non-issue unless you're fixated on it. Screen is gorgeous.

I upgraded from the regular iPhoneX to the XSMax. While the size of the screen in bigger, it isn't really that noticeable when holding it in your our putting it in your pocket. Went with the 512GB size, as it was on sale. Way more storage that most people need. Overall I would recommend this phone.

Best iPhone ever!!! I purchased the XS Max in gold & this phone is absolutely gorgeous!!! OMG! I’m in love with the dual camera & Super Retina Display! All my pics & videos look great! The advance Face ID feature is very easy to use. Apple never disappoints its customers. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

I transitioned from an iPhone 6s to the iPhone xs max and I was a little afraid considering no home button but the transition was simple and the phone works like a charm. All the features make it easy to use even with just one hand. Battery lasts all day and camera is phenomenal, just take a look at that picture

I was not a big fan of the iPhones we had the seven but when we went to look at the 10 max the screen was so bright and it was a fast processing phone. We take a lot of pictures of our kids the camera is fantastic. Love the ability to unlock my phone I just looking at it . Nice job apple with this one thumbs up

I upgraded from the iPhone X as a part of the yearly upgrade program. There's not much of difference except for the screen size and battery life. Camera is awesome!

Upgraded from a 7 plus. Battery life is much better on this phone. I can go a few without needing to charge, depending on usage of course. Phone is much quicker, colors are more vibrant. I did take some adjusting to not having the home button. Highly recommended just for the sake of battery life.

Love the new features! I upgraded from the 6S, and I am impressed with the camera on this phone! That by itself, would make this worth it to me. I am also enjoying the larger size, which I stayed away from thinking it would be too big. However I am pleasantly surprised that it is not too difficult to hold .

I upgraded from an XR and I’m glad I did. Bigger screen, better camera and other features. The main reason I bought this particular IPhone on an upgrade was Best Buy’s awesome deal. $700 off and a 512MB capacity as well. Thanks again Best Buy for giving great deals.

Beautiful, fast phone. You have to put in a few separate face recognition pictures to get you with a hat or with sunglasses, but still fine. One issue is that it is not all that easy to swipe up from the bottom and easily get the active apps to appear. However, can live with that and getting better at it.

This is my fourth iPhone and my very favorite of all. I love the absence of the home button, the scroll up feature to display all open apps, and the ability to close all open web pages with one click. The 512 gb of storage allows me to download feature-length movies to watch while traveling.

I’m an apple guy so it’s hard for me to compare this to anything but the prior apple iPhone. This phone and screen is so much better than my last phone (6S) and the camera is beyond this world. I can’t stop recording in 4K. I love it. Plus I have big hands. This phone fits me perfectly. Great job apple.

Great Price it’s about two years old but I love the gold color plus my iPhone 11 is fine if I need wide angle photos. Great display, good battery, and takes nice videos and photos. Will receive iOS 14 so that’s a plus. Cases are cheap for this phone now too :)
