Upgraded from my iPhone 6 + of 5 years.. the speed is not much faster and the battery is about the same for me .. the Face ID is a great security feature I was never one to give up my finger print, but my face is out there for everyone anyway.. the screen size is awesome and the 3D Touch is great as well. Still no live tiles but that’s I phone..

I had delayed upgrading my old iPhone 6S Plus, but I was looking at the new iPhones and.I liked the Xs Max. I especially like the facial recognition feature, very convenient to use. I also like the swipe feature to change screens. The better quality camera is great for a Grams who wants good photos to keep. Best of all, it is easy to use.

With the resale value of the iPhone X being so high this was a no brainer purchase. The iPhone XS Max is the Rolex of phones. The new XS will replace your best camera as well as 4K video and that’s only the start. Apps work with lightning speed and the OLED display makes everything look beautiful. True this is one expensive phone but worth it.

I am really enjoying my new iPhone XS Max. It is super fast, the battery life is excellent and I love the large screen. I am so glad I waited for the newest release and traded in my 6s Plus. Th iPhone XS Max is slightly different in size but so close you don't even notice it unless you put them side by side. I highly recommend this new iPhone!

This is my third iPhone. Tried Android for a bout a year, but for me the iPhone just is the best. Love the larger screen and so far the battery life is great. It's a little pricey, but the purchase plan from AT&T is interest free and a little easier to tolerate.

Apple completely canceled the 2018 luxury iPhone XS and XS Max, but they're still fine to buy. They have a speedy A12 Bionic processor and two rear cameras, so you can zoom in up to 2X. The XS and XS Max have nicer OLED displays than the iPhone XR and slightly better water resistance. Good luck.

I bought this to replace my long-time iPhone 5 when it was no longer looking like a viable IOS upgrade candidate, and the volume keys began to stick. I thought the size would really bother me going from a 5 to the XS MAX, but I had bought my wife an XR on the day they arrived to replace her iPhone 4 which wouldn't even support the AppleTV Remote App any longer. After less than a day we both found the size didn't bother us at all, and the signal quality was significantly better than the iPhone 4 or 5 (don't have to go into my office to get or make calls anymore even with only 1 or 2 bars). Also found I don't miss the Home Key even though I thought I would. I don't generally use the camera as I have a pretty good array of both digital and film gear for photography so I can't vouch for it on that front. This is the Space Gray XSMax/512 which I maxed the memory on because I use a lot of business apps and hold a lot of files locally because I don't want company data in iCloud. I've added some apps the iPhone 5 wouldn't support or have capacity for and haven't made a dent yet. I have played around with video and can actually see myself watching a video on a plane - something I could not conceive of doing with the iPhone 5's small screen. Best yet, the larger screen allows viewing more of a long email and even looking at parts of a spreadsheet that I would not have bothered to try on the old phone. Audio quality is quite good for a phone by the way. I suspect this device is much more fragile than either of the old phones we had, so unless a fractured glass front or back doesn't bother you - get a good protective case (I use a folio to protect front and back glass) I am overall very happy with the latest generation of the iPhones and recommend them - especially if you are already somewhat in the Apple Eco-System.

I owned the IPhone X and loved it. The XS MAX, is by far the fastest, and cleanest phone I’ve used to date. Also the larger screen makes for welcome improvements on the visual. The processor is speedy, and the size is not overwhelming. I would definitely recommend.

I upgraded from an iPhone 6 to this. I wasn't sure if I would like the larger size, but I really find it easier to use. The phone works great and I like the new features that I did not have on my iPhone 6. I especially like that the Hey Siri feature works with out the phone being plugged in as it required with the 6.

I was skeptical of facial recognition. How could it possibly work smoothly? Well! It works perfectly! The Face-ID lock-unlock is terrific and allows rapid access to your bank accounts and other security sensitive apps. I also thought I might miss the home-button. However, its a joy to have it GONE! Buy this iPhone! You'll Love It.

I had the 6s plus, the same size phone but the screen is the entire phone not just a lcd screen n the middle. Still getting used to the no home button n fingerprint thing, but the face id works great even outside n the dark no lights. Easy setup, nice features, really nice display. No complaints.

    For Me, the Perfect Upgrade

I acquired this because my iPhone 5 began to act up a bit with volume controls sticking or un-responsive. I had just replaced my wife's iPhone with a new XR which she loves. I was concerned with the change in size and the lack of the home button, but after a day, wasn't the least bit troubled by either issue. Speed is very good and call quality is better than my 5. Glad for the extra storage as I was able to load up a number of apps I would never have space for on the old phone. This is where the screen real estate comes in handy as I can view much more of a long email or even portions of a spreadsheet which I would never have attempted on the old small screen. Regardless of the larger screen, I don't envision watching television shows or movies on this device, but in a pinch, it could serve the need such as on a plane trip. Sound quality on audio is good (for a phone) bit I do miss the standard cable connection and the need to buy an adapter which should have been included IMHO. I don't use the camera on a phone much and haven't tried this one yet so I can't say much about that aspect of this highly touted feature. I am a bit worried about the fragility factor relative to the old iPhone 5 without the glass back, so purchased a folio case for it immediately - something I strongly suggest. Battery life seems very good and I haven't really seen an issue with slow charging. If I was that concerned, I would simply attach a backup battery source such as the Otterbox or similar power pack. Overall, this was a superb upgrade since I wanted to stay in the Apple eco-system and I am glad I made the change, relegating my old iPhone 5 to duty as a backup Apple TV Remote Control. This is a factor to keep in mind if you have multiple devices such as Macs, iPads, and multiple Apple TV's as we do. The seamless integration of all of these devices into a harmonious platform that just works without a vast array of third party products and hours of touchy configuration issues is not to be discounted. The Android environment is well supported but not necessarily uniform, and integration and sharing with other platform types not a simple task. I'll stay where I am form now unless something really compelling makes me change. I highly recommend the iPhone in general, and this iPhone XSMax in particular

I upgraded from the iPhone 7 Plus and the XS Max advancements are definitely worth the cost. Face ID works flawlessly even in total darkness. Size and weight are very close to the 7 Plus. Overall smoother and faster than previous models. The "notch" is a non-issue unless you're fixated on it. Screen is gorgeous.

I was not a big fan of the iPhones we had the seven but when we went to look at the 10 max the screen was so bright and it was a fast processing phone. We take a lot of pictures of our kids the camera is fantastic. Love the ability to unlock my phone I just looking at it . Nice job apple with this one thumbs up

Upgraded from a 7 plus. Battery life is much better on this phone. I can go a few without needing to charge, depending on usage of course. Phone is much quicker, colors are more vibrant. I did take some adjusting to not having the home button. Highly recommended just for the sake of battery life.
