I bought the XS Max 256 GB in space grey for myself and the same for my wife in gold a week before Christmas. We are both very pleased with the phones and the performance speed. We upgraded from the 6S+. The XS Max is a huge improvement! We were concerned about giving up the home button on the face of the phone, and honestly, we have not missed it. The facial recognition is also very nice and fast. It works faster than the old fashion thumb print recognition.

I am astonished at the quality of photos this phone takes. It is simple to operate and fast in searching.

I had the iPhone 7 before this and the difference between the two are for the better. For those texters you may want to get a pop up for the back. Also having no home button only took a short time to get used to. Not bad like I thought it would be. Haven’t had any problems with it until recently where it seems to lag/stall a bit when opening certain sites. (I’ve had this for 6 months now) Not sure if that’s the phone or connection though.

If you want the 'biggest and the best', it's obvious. This iPhone is for you. If you believe paying extra for 256 GB additional GB of on-board storage to have 512 GB is overkill. Get this iPhone! It's storage availability with 256 GB is right on the money. A little bit extra for even the most active camera user. Please take note, you will really wish you'd gotten the 512 GB model IF and only IF you record all videos at 60 FPS in 4K Resolution. Enjoy!

I started as an iPhone user way back on the 3GS, and went up to the 6. Just to try something different, I switched to a Galaxy S8. It wasn't bad, but just simply not as smooth and fluid as iOS. I have finally returned to Apple with the iPhone XS Max. iMessage is flawless and the best messaging service around. iOS is snappy and facial recognition is near flawless. Absolutely in love with it, and glad I went with the max for the size.
