I’m loving the the phone. Only downside is I should’ve got the space gray color. Chrome on this color is very noticeable when it comes to scratches

I got phone late at night and store was closing, when i got it home i noticed that the camera lens was cracked, called best buy the next morning and they said they could exchange it but would have to charge me another 30 activation fee, was told to go to apple because it was a factory defect, after getting an appointment and spending some time there i did leave with a new phone at no charge, so far all is good with second phone, fingers crossed

First phone since 6plus.. loving so far but really haven’t had long enough to be 100 positive.. camera is amazing which is important to me..

I enjoy having this phone because it easy to use. The camera is great. Love the wireless head phones that works with the phone as well.

It’s a great phone, I just wish apple would release a new product when the products optional functions are actually usable. ie dual sim.

I can’t give it a 5 because it seems to be a problem touching multiple sections of the screen at the same time. It’s definitely annoying!

I was excited to upgrade from my iPhone 6 Plus to the XS Max.. so far, the phone has been quite glitchy, apps are not running smoothly, “hey Siri” hasn’t functioned, phone freezes up when auto-dimming. Camera quality has improved, indeed, but I’m not blown away. The faster processor is clearly an upgrade and does work efficiently. As of right now, I cannot justify the hefty price tag for the value of the “enhancements” vs. competition.

This phone was purchased for my daughter. Good phone but the only thing she doesn’t care for is the camera and the way the pictures look.

The camera is not as good as I expected and some of the controls are different than every other IPhone. Overall OK, but not all that...

The Large screen brings out every day use and extra features not offered with different series cell phones. Incredible pictures as well

So far I am very impressed with the phone still getting familiar with a few of the new features being I’m upgrading from the iPhone 6s.

Let me start off by saying that I have owned every iPhone since the 3Gs and they have improved each year since, some more so than others. But the quality and usability of the iPhone XS Max is by far the best Apple device to date. From the design, the premium feel in the hand, it’s great form factor, the body to display ratio, the Oled panel, and iOS 12 running on 4GBs of Ram makes this phone outrun the competition by leaps and bounds. I have experimented with the Note series, Galaxy series, LG, and even tried the Pixel 1 & 2 XL, but for some reason Apple gets me to come back everytime. Right out of the box you know you have purchased a premium device, and as much as other manufacturers aim to outstretch the iPhone, there is a clear reason why iPhones is number 1. Yes, the device is not cheap and yes I do think at this price point a Fast charger or pair of AirPods SHOULD be included!! And while the display on this device may not have as much PPI as a note 9 or have the camera optimization of the Pixel 3 XL. What it does have is one of the best software and hardware experiences that $$$ can buy. The battery life is incredible and depending on how you use your device it can easily stretch to 1.5-2 days between charges, no need to top up throughout the day like on previous models. Signal quality has been excellent (WiFi and LTE) and speeds between opening up apps, streaming video, or browsing a web page makes this device feel like a pocketable iPad Pro. If you are on the fence about the size, be comforted in knowing that if you have ever had any of the Plus model iPhones (6+ 6s+ 7+ or 8+) it has the same body size, but all screen and close to zero bezels. I am 6’4” with large hands so I can understand if this isn’t too manageable but most phones nowadays are becoming less and less applicable for the 1-handed user. So if you like big colorful vibrant displays, do yourself a favor and opt for the Max.. Yes plenty of people scoff at the $1100 price tag but phones are the one device we use EVERYDAY. (Even over computers or cars) I tend to upgrade every year, but this might be a device a keep through one extra Apple iPhone cycle because it hits every mark. Fast, great battery, excellent camera, memory, amazing display, iOS 12, awesome selection of accessories to pair it with; Apple Watch, AirPods, wireless charger etc. Overall, give this device a chance and I promise you after a day or so you won’t go back!!!

Good phone, battery life has been awesome! Face recognition has been faster. Freezing a little when going in and out of apps to fast!

Needed an upgrade since my previous iPhone's (7 Plus) battery was draining so quickly. Seems on par with previous iPhone models.

I love the big screen on the XS Max but I miss the home button. It took sometime to get use to but now I’m enjoying my new phone.

I always used an iphone, so when i had to replace my phone i got the Max 64GB, i heard that it is the best iphone ever, paid around $1200 for it, i have couple things to say about it: 1- it froze couple times in the first week, worked better after an update but still freezing in the first week is bad. 2- charging the phone is slow, i use original cable and adapter but still slow 3- the lack of finger sensor is bad

This phone is great for someone other then me I just don’t like the no button on the front thing and I just am not that impressed

A big jump from an SE to Xs Max, but I’m in! It’s a big change in control because of needed 2 hands, but the screen is worth it!

Phone was good. Camera good. But back cracked several places in my case.

They say the glass is more durable, maybe for impact resistance. It scratched when it contacted keys in my pocket. My old 6 plus did this routinely for 4 years without a blemish. Should have gone Samsung...ho hum features, whopping price tag, scratches at the drop of a hat. Btw, it did have a case, just no glass shield as I don’t like the reduced sensitivity. If you must get one, I recommend a screen protector!!!
