The screen is very big and it’s really fast, the camera is very nice.

I have been an iPhone 6s user for the last 3 years. When I decided to upgrade my 6s, I thought of using Android to see how it felt like, as the last Android phone I used was almost 3 years ago and Android has come a long way in the mean while. So, I bought a Note 9. Even though Note 9 is a great phone with many good features and customization options, after using it for about 10 days, I realized that I terribly miss iOS. It may not make a huge difference if you don't use your computer much. But, if you are habituated to using a Mac along with your iPhone, it makes a huge difference. I also felt that the UI is better in iOS, that's my personal opinion though. So, after ten days of using Note 9, I exchanged it for iPhone XS Max and it's been an amazing experience so far. The larger screen has its advantages and is amazing for reading articles, web browsing and content consumption, but may be a bit harder to use with one hand unlike iPhone XS.

This new size is perfect and the camera is amazing. The only complaint I have is the price.

I upgraded to the XS Max and was nervous when I did. I was afraid to lose my home button and get used to facial recognition. The guy who helped me set it up ensured me that I will adjust very quickly and forget about my button. He was right. This phone is so talented and brings ease to my day. I highly recommend. The quality in the camera is excellent and the size of the phone is just right!

Superb phone. Had no issues during the past 1.5 years of use. Typically used 50% of everyday. Fast processing. Traded for a 13 pro max, but I regret it now, as the XS max seemed just as capable and high quality as my new one. Will surely miss. Highly recommend this one. Battery is great.

Great phone and just as good as the 11. I recommend the phone and have had no problems with this far. I purchased this for my 11 year old son. I recommend the $10 Best Buy warranty: we haven’t had to use it yet but it’s a good idea to get for such a pricey item: I think the color is what I like the best about the phone: The iPhone continues to get better every time.

I’ve written previously about the iPhone 8 Plus and how fond I was of it. Now move aside iPhone 8 it’s time to take iPhone...to the Max. If you’ve owned a plus sized phone in the past then you’ll adjust to the XS Max just fine. If you’re moving up from the standard size, aluminium casing phones for the first time, it is a lot bigger and heavier than you may expect so I’d recommend seeing one in person before you part ways with around $2K. Reasons for its extra weight is the glass back for wireless charging, and stainless steel frame. As was the case with the iPhone X in 2017 the XS series design is very easy on the eyes. The full screen, minimal bezel design is a pleasure to view each day. The notch really isn’t that big a deal for me. It blends in, and let’s be real the status bar is all dead space anyway. The OLED display is superb. Colours are bold, bright and deep. Blacks are dark and inky. I only wish it was brighter though. The display is adequately bright but if you use any device outdoors you’ll find that screen brightness is essential to seeing a great pictures. As OLED technology continues to improve I’m sure this will change. This is my first device with Face ID and I’m very impressed. It works everytime. I have one pair of sunnies that the infrared scanner can’t penetrate and Apple did warn us about this, so I have to remove those glasses to unlock the phone with Face ID, however my other sunglasses and corrective eyewear are fine. It continues to adapt and learn my face in different conditions and angles. I don’t find it awkward to use; you don’t need to hold your arm out as if you’re taking a selfie for it to work and it recognises me laying down in bed with the phone vertical on my chest. The camera. Where do I even start. Every year Apple claims to make better and better cameras. They’re not wrong. Using this device over the summer holidays I’ve snapped some amazing shots with portrait mode which continues to improve. Videos are silky smooth at 1080 or even 4K 60fps. The front facing camera is blow away too with portrait mode as well. iOS is always adapting. It has come along way and there is a way to go yet. I love it’s simplicity and ease of use. As with all Apples products they just work. I really don’t have anything bad to say about the phone. Except the price. If this is the new trend with iPhones then I won’t be reviewing another phone for a while. Not until my arm and leg grow back so I can sell it to Apple again.

I'm jumping from the iPhone 6plus to the iPhone XS Max so everything seems pretty amazing so far. The sound and screen quality are like night and day. Love the facial recognition and getting used to not using my thumb anymore. The battery life has been great thus far. Not even sure I've hit less than 50% and I'm on it quite a bit. What can I say it's the new iPhone, you love it or hate it. I happen to love it.

This is a great phone the screen is amazing and the size is great for streaming. But the WiFi and the cellular connections are a lot worse then the iPhone X. I noticed this right after I got the phone that the connections were worse. Apple did come out with a patch and it did make it somewhat better but still not as good as it should for a 1200 phone. Pictures and everything else is great if they get the connection isssues figured out it would be a great phone
