I upgraded to the Xs Max from an iPhone 7 and the additional screen real estate is impressive. The camera with the optical 2x zoom is outstanding as well. Given the updates to iOS 12 along with the new A12 Bionic chip, this computer (not sure we can call it just a phone anymore) is fast and responsive. Face ID takes a little getting used to, as does not having a home button anymore. After a few days, however, the new "swipes" are second-nature and not obtrusive. The reasons for 4 stars (instead of 5) are two-fold. First, while this phone has a huge screen, you're paying a premium for it. At more than $1,000, this phone is the most expensive I have ever purchased. True, it replaces a camera, video camera, phone, portable device, etc., but that is still a lot of money. Second, if you have smaller hands, the size of this phone feels mammoth. Walking through the halls at work and sending a text with just one hand is a thing of the past for me. Even with the keyboard shifted to one side of the screen, I still find myself having to use two hands so that I do not drop this $1,000+ device. So, do you want the biggest screen and fastest processor in an iOS device, this is definitely it (if you can afford it and do not mind two-handed operation).

I upgraded from my iPhone 6 (yes, I know it was old) but I am shocked how awesome this phone is. SPEED, FUNCTIONS, FACE UNLOCK, PHOTOS, etc. This thing is crazy fast and the photos are like professionals! My wife and I both got new phones and we LOVE them!

Coming from an 8 Plus, used to the size but increased screen is impressive. Quickly adapted to lack of home button and new gestures, literally 15 minutes and I was no longer feeling for the button. Camera is amazing, especially in low light. I highly recommend this phone.

The camera was the main selling point for me. The pictures it shoots as amazing even compared to my wife’s iPhone XS Max. I came from the iPhone XS Max as well and as very happy with the smaller size. The screen is still massive and is beautiful.

This iphone has a large screen. The pictures it takes are amazing! So clear! The bigger screen is better when texting, surfing the web and playing with the apps. This is the best iphone out there! A must have!

Upgraded from the 7 and I really like the bigger size, so much easier to view everything. Camara is great as well and I really enjoy the portrait mode....I can’t begin to say how awesome the pix look. If you are an apple person you’ll really enjoy this phone.

Coming from a 7Plus the only thing I'm blown away by is the battery life I'm rarely getting below 50% each day vs 15%. Probably because the screen turns off very quickly when the camera sees you are not looking at it. I'm very happy with Face ID. Having to make sure my face is in view and unblocked is way less of an issue than damp fingers with Touch ID. The bigger screen Is really not a huge improvement but I love swiping instead of a home button. The telephoto lense is used in low light much more which is so much better.

This phone is not for me it is for my wife and she likes it a lot beginning by the size the quality of the pictures the sound she likes the resolution the color of the photos she likes it when she’s is in face time calls she likes everything about this phone

My son and I went in looking to purchase the iphone x but were surprised that Best Buy already had the new iphones in limited stock. This iphone is incredible with the edge to edge and no home button. What a beautiful phone that will no doubt last for years to come.

When I got the iPhone X last year, my first thought was I wished it was larger. The iPhone XS Max accomplishes that. Not much else is different from the X except for the screen size and a better process and camera. If you like the X, no reason to upgrade to the XS.

This phone is perfect for someone who likes a bigger screen. The camera has really neat features and is good quality pictures. Many interesting apps in the App Store such as being able to measure how long something is and seeing where your friends are located.

I used to have 6 Plus before upgrading to XS Max. I just want to say that the purchase was the pleasant one for an Apple family member. The speaker and camera were top line quality, and the screen are noticeably bigger than my old one. I’m loving it.

I have always loved IPhones but this Max is by far the best one. Amazing screen and amazing battery life I get a full days worth of battery. I love the sound of the speakers and I pair it up with my AirPods for the best experience. I would definitely buy again!

I love everything about my new iPhone the camera is amazing the recording is amazing; battery storage, facial recognition,and even the size of the phone. I absolutely love my iPhone 10 Plus!

I have been a long time Android user and I decided to join the Apple IOS club! I am very happy with my new XSMax and it was worth every penny! The cameras are superior, the design is sleek, and the operating system is second to none! Highly recommend!

I love this phone!!! I hate changing to a new phone but the apps and my contacts updated seamlessly! Photos are super clear, the large screen makes web browsing easy to see and the speaker clarity is amazing, especially for someone that is hard of hearing.

Best Buy is the place to upgrade your phone as their staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. We bought this phone for screen size and the bigger storage to hold all the pictures of vacations, etc. It really was quite easy to get use to the "no home button".

I’ve owned every iPhone since the 4s, and hot dang is this a beautiful, functional, fast device. Don’t know if I’d recommend others jump from the X to this, as it’s a little excessive, but if you have a 7 or older, it might be time to consider this or the Xr.

This is the easiest cell phone I have used. The screen is bright and very clear. The colors are bright and sharp. The camera is the best I have seen.Functions with this phone are easy to use. Still learning all of the things you can do and having fun doing it.

I love the size of this new cell phone. It still fits in my shirt pocket. Easier to type texts and hold with my large hands. I know memory space will not be an issue. Nice upgrade from an iPhone 6s which now I can wait another almost 4 years.
