Unfortunately I had to rate it a star since this did not work upon receipt. Followed the directions on how to charge etc and it did not work. Would show it was fully charged but when on the phone there was not battery. Returned the product and have not ordered another yet to see if it was defective. Great shipping and customer service though. Received the item in a day as stated for free and returning it was a breeze as well.

This quit charging in less than a month. Pathetic. Also had damage to the silicone without ever even being dropped.

these things are not built to last. Head my warning, the battery is good for the first 4 months but after that.. not so much

It was great in the beginning. But now it’s just cuts on off constantly like as if you keep taking the charger on and off

2 stars, after owning for about a month or two the case just began to charge weird or not hold a charge at all.

I had it for two weeks. It ended up breaking after thoose two weeks and just goes on and off randomly. Waste of money

This case starts out great, but then it stops charging. This is the second time that this has happened.

Surprisingly, got an incompatible accessory error in iOS while using the case. Expect more from Apple.

Case was great for the first couple months but stopped working after only a couple months.

Did not charge correctly nor charge my phone. I’ve owned multiple Apple Battery Case Chargers in the past; however, the iPhone XS model is the only one Apple got wrong. They are usually awesome...but I’ve purchased three for the XS and neither one of them worked longer than a month without failing completely.

Great concept, but this is the third one I’ve had to purchase. They work about 6 months or so.

Unexpectedly surprised. Was excited to get this Apple smart battery/charging case, but it was DOA as soon as I took it out of the box when I left the store. Brought it home and plugged it in to see if it just needed a charge, but it would not power on. I must’ve received a defective one, and decided just to return it instead of exchanging for another one.

This item is pure garbage. For instance when I carve my phone overnight through the case I wake up with 40% charge on my phone but 100% charge on the case. Secondly the case charges the phone until it runs out of battery and then the phone battery drains. This is a sure fire way to damage the phones battery. Will be returning ASAP!

Didn’t work! Wouldn’t charge at all. Took product to Apple store and they let me know that Best Buy had sold me an item that was out of warranty also. So I returned it to the nearest Best Buy store, which was an hour away.

This battery case does not work right. I had another one with my iphone 7 and it worked great. But this battery doesn't turn off and heats my phone. It doesn't last long at all. Definitely wouldn't recommend buying this.

This is the 2nd one I've used. It does not work. It drains the phone battery and does not hold a charge. WORST PRODUCT I'VE EVER HAD FROM APPLE. DO NOT PURCHASE - MAJOR WASTE OF MONEY

Case would not charge phone.case was defective from apple. Had to do a apple replacement .apple should have recalled all case and not sell defective case.last apple product I would buy

I love this case ! Replacing an older worn out one. This case I purchased did not work , returned it and was out of stock so could not get another .

The product is good but it always keeps phone charge. That will keep your phone hot. Which is very risky for the electronic devices. And also it started reducing the efficiency of the phone battery.

Worked great for a little over a month and now is not functional. How could apple release such a bad product? I would advise staying away from this case after a read all the reviews about it.
