I bought the iPod nano for my girlfriend because she wanted to listen to music while she worked out. I own an older iPod Shuffle, which I love to use while working out because of the extremely small size. However, she wanted a screen to make song choice easy. So, I got the Nano for her. Again, Apple made this a quality product. The touch screen conrtols are very responsive and the menus are easy to navigate. I like the fact that it has both a radio function and a pedometer function. That makes it great for running or walking. It feels sturdy and solid compared to other brands that use cheaper plastic. I do feel the price is too high for the about of storage you get, but...you are paying for the Apple name and reputation. It's worth it for the quality of the product. My 5th generation Nano is still going strong! I expect this one to last my girlfriend quite a long time as well.

More than enough room for my music. The compact size makes it easy to take in the car and use while working out.

It is really the perfect size and with a lot of space for music and more. The perfect companion for exercising.

This iPod is extremely thin and lightweight. I was worried switching from a tiny shuffle to this but it's insanely light and you don't even notice it in an armband. Super easy setup and interface. Great apple design and quality build. Bonus: It comes with Nike+ which can track your distance and times and will automatically sync to an online account where you can review all the workouts you've done. I'm new to this but it sounds like they will even show you charts and graphs to track your progress month to month. It even says you can use it as a pedometer to track every step you take if you carry it around with you. I haven't tested this but for those that are into this new "track everything" fad, I imagine this would be a huge plus and you wouldn't have to buy one of those wristbands that I see everywhere now. This iPod can easily fit in your pocket or purse. Only downside, as with all Apple products, is the price. I picked it up on Black Friday for $99 and I think that's a fair price. I would probably wait for the price to drop if you're seeing it for more than $125.

Very small and yet user friendly device. It holds tons of music.

This is my first iPod, I needed some help setting it up but after that I have no complaints. I use it for music and audio books and the sound quality is really good. The battery life is good also, I use it in work and I work 10 hour days. It lasts all day! I also like the fact that it has a radio!

Very easy to convert from iPod touch to this. My daughter loves the small size and ease if use.

This iPOD was easy to use out of the box. I figured it out very fast. It sounds wonderful. The earphones are great and so clear. I love the touch screen feature on it now. It is very pretty in pink. Awesome!!! I wanted a smaller one like my first one only this stores more data and is much nicer.

Love this new IPod. The size is perfect. It is easy to use and simple to set up on ITunes. I use it for training and teaching fitness classes. Battery life is great and lasts even on a long run. I love the Nike + feature that keeps track of my mileage and pace. Another great Apple Product!

I have had several sizes of I Pods. Found this one to be ideal size and holds tons of music.

"Personal player" is how I categorize this marvelous little piece of electronic wizardry. It p,as YOUR music, pictures, videos and so much more. Bluetooth connectivity is leading edge. Very compact and operates with an easy user interface on touch screen. Included earbuds are better than most higher end 3rd party offerings.

I love the size, I use it for running, you really dont realize you have it in your pocket!

Great sound, compact and easy to use. Only wish the earplugs had the volume control on them for easier use when Nano is in a sport band.

Wonderful system for music when you don't need all of the capabilities of an IPod touch

I'm very happy with my ipod. I think the blue tooth feature is great, and I really like the touch screen with the ability to swipe. I do wish that there were actual buttons to change songs like they use to have on older versions. If you're mid workout and you want to change a song, you have to press the main button and then hope that you are able to touch the proper area to change to the next song. It's not a big complaint, but sometimes I find it annoying especially if I'm wearing it in an arm-band carrying case.

I love that it can hold a lot of songs. So compact and easy to carry when I exercise.

I prefer the previous nano format - it was the perfect size (half the size of this one), came with a clip built-in so you didn't have to buy a case, external function buttons and headphone connection were on top for easy use while it was clipped inside your pocket. Other than the physical format, this is a solid product with great sound and easy to use.

Holds plenty of songs. Sounds great. Compact. Love the radio feature!
