battery life is good, case is perfect, sound is well, but speed of ease is not perfect

good size storage, good price, easy to use. Just what you would expect from an ipod

I like this iPod for working out, as it is small and can hold a large amount of music. The battery life is quite good too. I use it for over a week without charging. A negative aspect though is that there is no wifi connection possible limiting certain things such as downloading apps. I really wished I would be able to load some games onto this iPod especially for times when I am at the aiport and need to conserve the battery life of my phone (minus 1 star). Also, Pandora & Spotify are not available, so I must actually put music onto iTunes and load it onto my phone (this feels a bit old school! haha). I mainly bought this iPod for the Nike feature which is built in, and while the app itself works very well by measuring your time, calories, and speaking to you and telling you your progress during the workout, it took me a while to get the distance measurement quite right. The apple website specifically states that no Nike sensor (for your shoes) is needed. I began to use this ipod to train for a 5k, and I thought I was becoming a good 5k runner. When I actually ran the 5k, I passed up 5k, 6k, 7k per the ipod and I thought either the iPod is wrong or the course directors lied to us and we are running an almost 7k not a 5k. The first item was the true one. I had to do quite a few calibrations by running a known distance and correcting the iPod after it measured my distance before it finally began to get it right. Then it got a bit cold outside so I began to run inside on the treadmill and kind of had the same fiasco again as perhaps my 'hip action' on the treadmill is not quite the same as on land. (minus 1 other star for Nike app not 'wowing' me). I personally wanted a distance tracking device where I did not have to bring my cell phone with me as I am a small girl and those arm bands usually take over my arm and end up falling down. I really wanted the older generation nano which was manufactured with a clip (like the shuffle), but I decided to buy the latest model with a clip case. This is a simple iPod, very small and convenient. My friends slightly laughed at me for buying it because they just use their iPhone. I have used a shuffle for the last 6 years for listening to music while working out and I really enjoy the 'clip onto my clothes' aspect, and now I just needed something to measure distance. While this has eventually worked out for me, it was not as easy and simple as I had hoped. I am putting 'No' on the would I recommend this to a friend, because it seems like most of my friends do not care for it. I would only recommend it to someone if they are seeking to clip the iPod to their clothes in the same manner that I do & also seek a device to listen to music whilst conserving their phone's battery life. ** I have yet to load photos or videos to my iPod. While I am sure this is convenient for some, the screen is SO tiny, I cannot imagine trying to watch a TV show or movie on this device.

I like the color choices. It's small in size but shaped so it is easy to hold on to.

primary reason of purchase is this model only one that has great radio reception. out of 5 different mp3 players i have tried for radio this was the best! sound is good, download of songs very easy as well as back up of songs, photos.

Bought this for my sister's birthday present. I already have previous iPod nano model and love it, but this new model has MUCH BETTER DESIGN and Sound Quality. I have another MP3 player for toying around but If you want the best quality, you would want this. Yes, it's bit more expensive but it's worth it!

Got it for my 84 yr old Mom who had trouble using other mp3 devices. Once I loaded her music on it and set up her playlists, she can use it easily. She can select songs and albums or artists and can start and stop the music, charge it when needed. If she wants another song, I have to sync to itunes on a computer and load the song. Wish she could buy and download songs directly from the iPod.

This 7th Generation iPod nano is very durable, light and is very convenient to carry everywhere with you. It's fast to shuffle through music and skip songs. For a 16GB MP3 player, this is very affordable and provides a great, hassle-free listening experience.

It's so small and easy to use. Love how easy I can make and edit playlists.

Overall I would recommend this product. I am not tech savy and this couldn't be easier. Even though I have an IPHONE that could play the music, many times if I am exercising or out and about it is too large to carry easy. This Ipod fits in my pocket. It is also goes a long time without being charged. Love the new colors. Super fun.

Ive only had this a month but so far its alot better than my ipod shuffle which i still use. I like the Nike feature that tracks your steps which I keep track of when walking my dog. I like that you can also store pictures on it. Im sure theres alot more on it but so far its providing good sound quality & its easy to hold.
