I wanted a new nano because its small and would be easy to carry. I use it alot when Im exercising so it fits great in my pocket !! always great sound!

It is great to have video back in the iPod Nano. This is just the right size to carry around. The addition of Bluetooth is very convenient. I love it.

My 8 yo iPod nano finally died and I needed to replace it. I found this in the store and I trust Apple as well as already having everything set up for an iPod, I was happy to get it. It's easy to use and delivers the quality I expect.

I bought this for my mother so that she can listen to some audio books in addition to music. but she was frustrated that when she would pause the audio book, he did not show your time or saved her spot. i know my iPod classic only saves the spot you left on if you do not change it. but she mentioned it didn't save her spot at all and she had to start from the beginning. she also said she liked using the radio on the nano but was upset they didn't have FM radio. I'm still trying to find a podcast of her to use, but I'm not very familiar with downloading podcast to the nano. I told her if she uses it often we will upgrade her to the iPod classic with much more memory, and it shows your time. but for now this will do.

Love this nano! Glad that it is bigger and longer. The colors are so adorable! It fits anywhere and the battery lasts a while. Great music device!!

I really like it. It is small, but has an adequate screen. I like that it plays videos as well. Sound is great and easy to skip songs and adjust volume.

Bought this for my dad to use in his truck. He loves it. Good amount of space and easy for him to use and figure out. Wish the nano was a little cheaper.

This iPod is perfect for daily workouts. The memory was sufficient to transfer all of my songs from iTunes. I love how small and lightweight it is.

This item replaces an earlier generation iPod nano and the increase in features and memory for the price is incredible! Touch screen is nice.

I bought this for my GF as a gift and she was thrilled when she saw it. She loves it and never leaves the house without it. As with all Apple products, quality is great!

This is a perfect iPod for listening to music. It doesn't have a ability to access the internet, which is what I love about it. It give my teenager the chance to listen to music but not be online. I love it and so does my kid.

I started out with one of the first Nano's years ago. You simply opened itunes, and drag & drop songs to/from your ipod. Instead of building on that intuitive design it seems that Apple is now trying to engineer complexity into the process, especially when it comes to loading music from an external drive.

I bought this for my father in law as a birthday present. He wanted an MP3 player to use at the gym. We debated between the iPod touch and this model. This model provides all the necessary components for a basic MP3 player. It holds enough songs for him to enjoy his experience at the gym. He has a hard time reading the material in the iPod so my only complaint/wish for Apple would be to include larger print through a settings option. He's very happy with the selection we made. I wish more protective cases were made for this model also.

Just received for Christmas and have not had a lot of time to use yet but so far it works very well and is easy to use. Has great sound and features but wish it had more comfortable earphones.

perfect for working out - compact not bulky. I wish there was an adjustable arm band for this version. music comes thru great not tinny

There's a reason why Apple has become synonymous with MP3 players - they do it better than anyone. Each generation adds a clearer, more informative display to allow you to select albums and playlists - all in a very slim and compact package. My only recommendation is stay away from the black one - It just seems easier to lose/forget when left in a black bag, on the dashboard of a car with black interior, etc....

This is a much better size of Ipod Nano than the previous versions. It is much easier to use that the first versions. I love this one!

Not that it matters to many, but you can literally watch movies on this thing, which is cool. But the best thing is over the 6th gen is that you can use this with one hand, I don’t know what Apple was thinking with that square screen, the only plus with that one is that you could turn it into a watch. I am glad that Apple went back to the original form factor. Very light, I see some people complaining about that, not sure why, oh and to lock it, just hit the power button once briefly. Highly recommended.
