Bought this for my wife and returned it because it can't be used in the car with an auxiliary cord 3.5 or 2.5. The headphone jack is only for Mac earphones. My wife likes to control the player without having to keep reaching over to change songs on the car's receiver. This can't be done because it won't accept the aux cords. I did read on one forum there is a way to piece some other adapters together to make it work. But it's just apple's way of doing it so only their products are needed. I guess aux cords are going to disappear for all Apple devices soon as well as headphone jacks. They want to sell their wireless Beats so they do away with headphone jacks on all their devices. I will stay with cd 's in my car thank you very much. Keep your Nanos and Beats.

Look, it's an iPod - you know what you're getting. My 11 year old daughter had been wanting to upgrade from her Shuffle for a long time, and got to for her birthday. She loves it, though she really wanted a Touch.

I was searching for a suitable tech gift for my older son for Christmas and the Ipod Nano seemed like a good choice. He is very happy with it, has been using it constantly and loves the options that come with it.

I got an iPod that had been opened, so it was $20 off, which was awesome. There was a little hiccup trying to set it up because it was configured for Mac, but after a quick factory reset it works great. :)

Needed a new ipod for running and this one fit the bill. If you are only interested in listening to music this Ipod version is the one for you. Love the Bluetooth connectivity which allows its use while traveling.

We love the nano because of its size and portability. My husband likes having his phone as a phone and his music player as a music player. Disappointed that Apple has discontinued this smaller model.

My 90 year old mother has Alzheimer's. A study done for the Alzheimer's Association shows that playing music that means something to the patient seams to increase brain activity. We are trying this with my Mom.

It is a nice piece, as good as the earlier one but the real reason I bought i;, for it's bluetooth capabilities, has not proven out. It does not seem to synch with my car's bluetooth, however, the car is a 2010 BMW and that may well be the car's fault not this device's.

I got it as a gift for my mom. It's a little small and pricey for an item that is little outdated . I got it as a gift because she didn't have one. Overall if I spent little less it would be a better rating

I actually exchanged this product for a bigger iPod touch.

Device works great for what you need it for the most (music). You can upload photos/video also but with a small screen don't really see the use. If you have $50-100 more, you should go for the touch which is essentially an iPhone without the phone calls

It uploads nearly all of my music library and has the features I use all of the time in the car and when I work out. I can carry it in my pocket when at the gym, or store it easily in the console of my car and control it via my car's screen controls. Flawless!

My wife ran with a very old and outdated iPhone 3G. It was old, slow, and clunky. It finally died after 6 years and my wife got the iPod nano. Great product!

Works as well as any previous generation ipod while offering more space to hold songs. If you're looking for a music player practically anyone can use to load their favorite songs in, use the iPod.

I purchased the Shuffle to save some money, but the Nano is definitely worth the price. It has various Apps and you can actually see what song you are selecting. You won't regret spending the extra bucks.

I had a second generation iPod and loved it but it isn't capable of doing the latest in technology. I received this nano 8th generation for my birthday and it will take me to a new level of enjoyment.

I like the nano a lot. I don't need more storage than what is offered here.The controls are easy to use and there are just enough options included to make it versatile without being overwhelming.

It's an iPod. Not much has changed throughout the generations but it does what it does well. My biggest complaints with iPods is the ability to not be able to delete a song directly from the iPod. If it had that ability, it would be a full five stars for me.

Everything we wanted and more. A little pricey but what Apple device isn't. We own iPads, iPods, macs, always have and never been disappointed. Why anyone would use other devices is unimaginable.
