I had nothing but bad luck with new ipod. Buttons unresponsive, woman'should voice that wouldn't go away, etc., Etc, The news is this nano has been discontinued by apply. I returned mine and got an ipod touch. I happy now.

There is no way to go back a screen, the only button takes you to the start screen.
