This is advertised as an 8th generation ipod. The model on the unit I received was still just a 7th generation. Best buy is charging more for what the apple site says doesn't exist. I returned this and got the exact same unit for $20 cheaper at Walmart.

I wanted a radio - this device gives me the option of syncing content as well as listening to FM radio. Great device - typical Apple!

Sure wish this device had a location finder as this replaced the iPod I lost. Plenty of storage for my iTunes library and playlists. With a protective case, this unit is a jewel!

Just didn't realize how small it would be but I love the amount of music, vids, books, etc that you can put on it. Like the different colors it comes in. Syncs great with my stereo system.

The mini iPod is the best so far for working out. You can put it in your pocket or in an arm band and it feels like nothing is there.

The Ipod Nano is great, if I don't want to listen to music I downloaded, I can listen to the radio that is also part of the Nano

The iPod is small and very simple in downloading music. Instructions were easy to follow, especially for a Geek-impaired Grandmother.

The FM Tuner doesn't get the best reception, but it still works. Very easy to use interface and great for playing downloaded music!

Was purchased as a replacement after losing my smaller 6th generation iPod. The larger size makes it easier to handle and less likely to get lost. Features are basically the same and I use it mainly for listening to music on my daily walks. My only negative comment is that the Nike program does not accurately calibrate the mileage. I use an alternate device to measure the distance and am trying to calibrate the new iPod.

Got this specifically for working out specifically without a phone. Essential if you just want to hear music and not be bothered.
